Wow, that's a great bundle. None of the games will compare to BF4 in sales, but still, those are some good games.

I'd say something sarcastic too, pots/kettles/hypocrisy/look who's offering great bundles now, but nah :sneaky:

Do we know what will be offered with AMD bundles? Is it just BF4 or is there some other bundle?

Don't think they have announced anything yet. I would imagine at the official 290x launch they will, or at APU13.

This move makes it obvious that Nvidia is hemorrhaging and can't sell cards. Sucks to see them going out of business now.

I certainly want to play Batman so I guess I can wait for these to flood ebay.

Once they release Never Settle Never Substitute they will offer 6 free games probably.

I guess the Watch Dogs bundle is delayed until Maxwell? :D

It's good to see Nvidia doing bundles again but they're still never going to shift a 770 at $100 more than a 280X.

Considering Watch Dogs is delayed until some time in 2014, why would it be in a bundle?

Doesn't matter though because your going SLI per your [H] post ;)

I'm either going SLI 780's, maybe 2x290x's or 2x gtx 785's. I know I'm acting like a GTX 785 is actually on the way but seriously, who doesn't think it will happen. I'm just getting the itch for a little more juice. I've tried playing Metro LL on my 30" and with all the bells and whistles and I need a little more oomph.

I'm sure the new Batman in this holiday bundle will *need* more power than my 780 can provide aswell.

I'm definately looking to play with Physx on since Batman is usually a pretty decent implementation so I will most likely go sli 780's or 785's over the 290x's.

This bundle may actually get me to buy a new card over a used one though. We'll see. Too much to think about right now. Heck, I may actually go sli 780's and crossfire 290 x's since I really have been wanting to check out the latest iteration of multi gpu from both camps.

If I were in the market for a 780 & waiting for a great deal, this wouldn't be it. They'd have to do better than this.

I'd rather see price cuts than game bundles. Maybe we'll get both once the 290x is out.

EDIT: The Shield for $199 is a really attractive PC-to-TV streaming option for those of us who do not want to lug or PC's from desk to TV or use 50 foot HDMI cables. I'd like to see Nvidia come out with a Tegra 4 streaming box/controller with no screen.

Yep. GTX770 2gb needs to be $319-329 IMO.

You can get an Android TV dongle for streaming duties for ~$60 and use it with your phone instead of that bulky thing with a HDMI cable.

That doesn't stream games like the Shield. I think he was talking about a Shield like device (minus the screen with maybe bluetooth for a controller) that can stream your PC games to your TV. Similar to what was being talked about for the SteamBox / SteamOS announced by Valve.

OK Rvenger, I see this " MSI R9 290x " in your sig. Spill the beans! How's the performance or are you under a NDA?

LMK if you plan on dumping that 780. I may buy it back.

to the few who were vociferously arguing that Nvidia need not bundle games like AMD as their product is superior this is a remainder of how wrong they were and still are.

Nvidia has tried to avoid price cuts with this bundle. But I don't think its going to help. Nvidia need a price cut and that will become even more evident after the R9 290X / R9 290 cards launch in the next 2 weeks.

I am waiting to see AMD's response to this Nvidia bundle. All of this is good for consumers who can enjoy some awesome games along with their latest GPUs.

This is a NICE bundle. Why does it end at the end of November though? They should keep this going all the way to Boxing Day at least.

Shame Nvidia didn't brand its own 10 inch Tegra 4 tablet they could offer the $100 off on instead of Shield.

Looks like Nvidia is having problems unloading Shield.

Shield was just an effort to sell more Tegra 4 chips as Nvidia had very few high volume and high profile tablet or smartphone wins. Nvidia lost the Gooogle Nexus 7 to Qualcomm and were losing money heavily with the Tegra division. $100 off on a Shield is a 33% discount on a product which started selling 3 months ago. Even this cannot save Tegra 4 or Shield. But still Nvidia sure are being made to eat humble pie. :D
