The non-ultra, will beat both the FX5950 & ATI 9800XT, however look for ATI to have a NON-Pro X800 that should beat both as well selling at the $299 range. These cards will be out so soon now, its worth the very short wait.

I meant, dont buy a 5950Ultra or a 6800Ultra, if you are looking at a budget.

I was mean't to say buy a 5900and then flash it to a 5950Ultra, and save the money.

yes, fight that urge! you can do it! don't scratch yet! the prices on those cards will drop once these cards are released. how much they will drop in price we don't know yet but with the new games coming out this year you'll wanna have one of those new cards in your system.
