Why is it that people put so much pressure on the 3DMark scores? I really love it when someone mentions their system can do XXX 3DMark scores. None of this really matters to me, the ingame scores, of games I play, are the ones that matter. Sure, ATI may be faster in 3DMark, but if they aren't as fast in XXX game, then why do I care?
Sure, the arguement for 3DMark is the "future" of games and gaming, but when it comes to NOW, I look at performance NOW. As it sits, I read UT2K3 (and Quake-based) benches far more than anything 3DMark has ever done.
