You can buy tons of different brands that offer what this blender does. Now if you're arguing that this brand offers exceptional quality product for the price, that's different from the stupid BS some people are saying in conjunction with this.

Case in point:

Sounds dumb, but different units do process foods differently. Between mine and my roomies blenders things come out different. Taste and color wise. Even more so between our Juicers. You can put 2 halves of a piece of fruit in both and it will look totally different and have a very different taste. I don't know exactly how to explain why this is, so the review you quoted, for all I know has some merit to it.

I recently bought the NutriBullet Pro 900 watt model from HSN (they had the best price, also bought the Phillips Air Fryer from them).

My wife and I had tried juicing before and while the juice was good it was too much cleaning for us. The NutriBullet is much more convenient. Just dump in ingredients, blend, and then rinse out.

Anyway, so far we are very impressed with the NutriBullet Pro. I can't attest to the long term reliability yet.

Not true. Blenders tend to get hot which destroys the fruits or vegetables nutrients. The nutribullet doesn't get that hot so the nutrients don't get lost.

You are a company PR bullshitters wet dream.

I use a masticating juicer for juicing. Blender for smoothies.

hmm, that's the second time I've seen this term used in a food-prep description in the last couple of days.

Is that basically someone that pre-chews the food for you, or some type of blender that both mechanically grinds and breaks things down enzymatically?

Chewing/grinding sans enzymes.

But you knew that.

Its basically a juicer that actually squeezes the juice out of what you are juicing, compared to blending juicers that simply slice up everything and filter out the juice.

There are three primary advantages to a masticating juicer:

1. For stuff that has less natural juice like greens, a masticating juicer can get up to 50% more juice than a blending juicer. That is because the pulp left behind is squeezed so well its almost dry.

2. Unliked a bladed juicer, a masticating juicer does not oxidize the juice so instead of having to consume immediately you can store it for up to 36 hours.

3. A masticating juicer is very low RPM compared to a bladed juicer so no heat is created (which could POSSIBLY alter the juice).

The downsides to a masticating juicer are the cost, the fact it outright sucks for some things (apple juice, nut milk, a few other things), and that it takes longer to create the juice.

Honestly it comes down to what you are trying to juice. Fruits, milks, and stuff that you want the pulp? Get a bladed juicer. Greens, vegetables, and roots? Get a masticating juicer.

So now you know why silly infomercials are all over the TV with their silly claims.

You're one of those people that reviews things on Amazon without actually trying them, aren't you.

Intelligent comeback. Very cutting, I've almost lost the will to go on living. No, wait, all better now.

As mentioned, I did try the blender and found it to be a blender. You're the sucker that paid a shitload of money for an iBlend and you're the sucker that's claiming it's something more than a blender. Since you dodged this the first time around (we all know you couldn't answer it) I'm going to ask again. What does the Nutriwhatever do that a normal blender doesn't do?

You're the one claiming it's something more than an ordinary blender, so you must have experience with it doing more things. So in detail, please share with us your personal experiences with what your new little blender does that other blenders don't do.

Show me where on this doll the Nutri Bullet touched you.

Seriously - that's a lot of vitriol/emotion over an inanimate object, whether it's a blender or some magic enzyme extractor.

We use one of the higher priced Omega masticating juicers at the Jeeebus household. Probably 3 - 4 breakfasts per week consist of kale, spinach, mint, carrots, apples, pineapple, etc. My wife likes to experiment with what veggies she throws in the juicer, which occasionally means I run outside and pick some miracle fruit so that I can tolerate it.

Having owned several blenders, I've found that they don't all work the same like you'd like to think they all do. One was bad crushing ice. Another due to the shape of the blender container didn't do a good job making smoothies b/c the blades were up too high in the container.

Please learn to follow along, it's much easier on everyone that way. The vitriol is not directed at the inanimate object, it's directed towards the animate (barely) objects who have been fooled into believing that the inanimate object is something special and want to argue to help themselves get over their buyers remorse.

And yet you feel it necessary to 'lower' yourself to argue with this group of 'barely animate' people over the benefits or lack thereof of a $100 blender - and the corresponding need to attack in any way possible, whether at a factual or personal level. They like their blender. You do not. The fact that you feel compelled to argue with them and prove them wrong on so minor/stupid of an issue is indicative of something wrong/missing in your life. The fact that I feel compelled to continue to respond to your drivel suggests that I should probably commit seppuku.

No, don't do it! D:

People are entitled to their opinions, and their opinion of a blender seems to matter a lot to you in a very negative way for some reason. Op wanted opinions. Personally, I stated I love mine, and that it does a better job than, and is easier to clean that my normal blender. No buyer's remorse (I've had 2, in fact. Bought a replacement when my first eventually just wore out from use). Other people may not find it to their tastes. It's just a blender, and they're just opinions. Relax.

Case in point:

I make no association with the heating of food and nutritional value.

::::::: DISTANCE ::::::::

My point is it's a super powerful food processor that's super easy to clean and the clever design makes it better than most competing products at its price point.

ATOT- the only place in the US where you're not allowed to like something.
