now with kids we choose to remain clothed.

There is a nude beach near me (campground up near San Onofre) and I go there every once in a while on a long bike ride (no I'm not riding nude). But the scenery is pleasant for the most part and I don't oogle and nobody seems to mind me riding near there. I might drag the wife up there kicking and screaming to go surfing one day. She can lay out on the sand and I'll surf. I might coax her into taking her top off. She has a nice body, nothing to be ashamed of. I would lay out nude...no big deal for me. No nude surfing though. Man, the wax rash would be hella painful.

I wish i lived near there, I would give hoyaguru's left arm to surf trestles (or blacks beach for that matter, even though its a bit further away).

When I was in Greece this summer, I spent a lot of time on a mixed beach, meaning many were nude, many were just topless, and a few had suits on. I got nude a few times. Doesn't bother me; in fact, it's quite nice.

I see you are from New York...if you spend enough time on South Beach you will see many bottomless women too. I haven't been to the beach itself to tan, just taking 'tourists' to see, and we have seen totally nude people a few times. I don't think it's legal, but alot of what happens down in South Beach isn't exactly legal either.

Blacks Beach isn't nude anymore but it is a good surf spot.

this arguing is stupid, i just moved from euclid and 8th street in the middle of south beach (to jacksonville where i live now)... while there are several (many?) women without their tops on and the occasional women without her bottoms on either (mostly south americans, brazil beaches must be amazing), the VAST MAJORITY of women are wearing both tops and bottoms, AND south beach IS NOT a LEGALLY nudist beach vs a beach like Playalinda which last i heard was a legally nudist beach and under the supervision of the National Parks Service.

These half/fully naked women in South Beach are breaking the law, though i never saw anyone get a ticket for it, i did see cops ask people to put their clothes back on if they were really flagrant about it, while naked people in Playalinda are fully legal in being naked if they want to be.

I LIVED IN SOUTH BEACH for several years. i was 3 blocks from the beach, i walked over there all the time to hang out. I just moved to Jacksonville recently. South Beach is no nudist beach, period, end of story, arguing is not possible with this point.

Haulover Beach is VERY FAR AWAY from South Beach, and yes, it is a nude beach. Once again I believe it is under the supervision of the National Parks Service. For whatever reason, the nude beaches are usually under their control. I have driven by Haulover a few times on A1A but never stopped to visit.

South Beach officially starts at the very south end of the barrier island and extends north perhaps 1-2 miles. around 2 miles north you get out of the mass of hotels and restaurants on the beach and into more condos and apartment buildings.

 

At playalinda it is illegal now.

Little to no hot chicks.

thats unfortunate. i grew up in brevard county (melbourne beach) and it was legal at that time, but it got a ton of news coverage every year some new group would try to shut it down. one year i remember the real radio 104.1fm crew went out there and did an afternoon broadcast in their underwear. sad to hear the anti-nudists finally won that battle.

i think my favorite story growing up in florida was the topless hotdog vendor.

I'm not a nudist and I don't plan on ever going to a nude beach/resort. Why? Because you'll see more overweight people than hot people.
