This is a legitimate question IF asked, for example, by someone raised racist but asked for the right reasons with an open mind.

Yes that is usually the excuse "I'm just asking questions" as a deflection from their suggestion within those questions or direct utterings of disgust as you have portrayed.

If you were reasonable you'd accept that not every human is like you and accept others as just as human as yourself and realize that they are ALLOWED to make choices that hurt no one including you.

But no, you are the same kind of fucktard that have disparaged blacks, asians, homosexuals and literally everyone who are not just like you throughout the history of mankind.

I don't get swinging, I could never see my wife and me doing something like that but I do not judge others choices that hurt no one because unlike you I'm a decent human being.

Western society was based around that ideal.

I used to know a teenage couple that were into swinging, they were a little odd but still good people. The wife would get a little handsy in the pool though.

It's probably not as common today as in my time, or at least it seems to be less common now unless you count "dogging".

As a single guy I would not have a problem but they don't allow single guys and now that I'm married I have no interest in it.

Did do the odd sex club scene as a single guy though, 'twas fun.

I lived a sheltered life as a young adult. Met my wife when I was 20 and we have been together ever since so I missed out on all the fun wild stuff.

What could I have said other than what I did to express what you think I should have here?

I thought that's what I was getting at with "I wouldn't want to stop them" and distinguishing between my reaction "if it were me I think this is how I would feel", and condemnation, as in "just because I think I would feel a way means everyone must therefore thesepeople are wrong"

Maybe that anyone automatic feels this way is the problem - I can't change the zeitgeist I was raised in, only how I choose to behave toward others - and attempt to appreciate people for the world they come from by explaining my reactions/automatic assumptions and seeing where I may be wrong - see my response above to naked frog.

Sure, it's no different than expressing disgust over interracial couples and then saying "I don't want them to stop", right? And people raised to be Nazis can't change their minds either, no way.

You know, if you weren't a holier than thou "Christian" that expressed that others are not "true Christians" this wouldn't even be a problem, people are fucktards in general and can't help judging others...

But YOU? You proclaimed to be holier than thou and that others who do exactly what you are doing now are not "true Christians" not even realizing that that statement in and of itself is NOT for you to make as someone who pretends to be an actual Christian.

All that said, I'm out and I truly hope you realize the point now because I'm done trying to explain it to you.

I expressed that the guy who literally lied about what the Bible says Jesus said literally lied. Like I said - I see how you got 'holier than thou' from what I wrote and I, again, with to retract that sentiment. I was only pointing out the man was making a factual error regarding the objectively existence of biblical divination of Jesus being anti-black.

Nazis born into that and looking to understand the world outside of it are also going to start with "how can you let Jews make bread - won't it taste disgusting because they just put lice in it? I'm confused - do you like lice?"

The proper response is "Jews don't put lice in bread" not "fuck you very much for asking."

I think it's really clear I'm trying to speak honestly and with an open mind and heart - but because I didn't start the conversation understanding the world they way you do, you've become upset about it.

Perhaps you can come at this tomorrow with more sympathy.

Again, you judge others and this time based on the level of sin that you have determined? No sin is greater than any other sin and ALL sin is equal. Why do you feel like pretending that you know scripture when you clearly don't.

You are no more in sin or free there of than a murderer or a child rapist, according to Jesus you are the same as they are.

Nazis born into that and looking to understand the world outside of it are also going to start with "how can you let Jews make bread - won't it taste disgusting because they just put lice in it? I'm confused - do you like lice?"

No, the proper response is a punch in the face, obstruction of the spread of hatred and a staunch opposition towards the likes of you.

Empathy is born out of empathizing with someone's situation, sympathy is born out of empathizing with someone's situation where they have been wronged.

You can't even admit when you are wrong and thus you can earn no sympathy. Save me the "open mind" bullshit, ignorance is never open minded.

Sin? Where did I say anything about sin? I said that a nazi lied about what Jesus is quoted to have said - it's an objective statement of fact.

If ignorance is "never open minded" then how does anyone learn anything?

I literally called myself ignorant- I thus literally admitted that I think I'm wrong about something here. I didn't post my reactions as something right - I literally posited them as something I'm suspect of.

You can't be any more open minded than being suspicious of your own automatic reactions.

Again just look at my honest question and response to Naked Frog.

I'm sorry I made you feel judged, like I was implying I was some how better than you, or in some other way belittling you or what you believe. This is precisely what I don't want to do - my stated personal goal is to create greater respect for others in their various ways of being.
