Actually, I just asked how many NRA members have committed mass murders and you went somewhere else with it.
Let me try again.

I have complete faith in you that you are more than capable of discovering those numbers on your own. Get 'er done son!... If it's truly something you're interested in. I've already expressed zero desire to know those numbers so it won't be me looking them up.

We good?

It was pretty stupid and had nothing to do with any threat, real or perceived. It was a joke when Trump said it and a television promotion when Dana said it. Try to put on big boy panties.

So when Trump said:

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

You characterise this as a joke. How do you interpret this joke?

Glad to respond to a chronic chubster begging for attention, any attention.
Chronic? Thanks for reminding me, I've yet to eat today. Excuse me, I'm off to get a pudding. So good!

Thanks for the attention Tajjy! Is this the only thing that makes you feel like a stand up guy? Then by all means, keep paying attention to me.

Meant in jest, the kind of dumbass move non-politicians make.

No way of knowing accurately because the NRA and republicans cripple studying gun violence at every level.

Going to get rid of the 1st Amendment ? Going to do it legally or just by force of weight?
No need to get rid of the 1st. The 2nd? Yeah that one needs to be shredded. So, you're weight... I don't care what it is even in the slightest. It doesn't impact my life in any way neither does it determine for you if you're going to be a decent human being but your stupidity, your ugliness (on the inside 'cause I don't care what you look like on the outside) your hatefulness, your [youth] murderous intentions ALL prevent you from being a decent human being.

The pudding was awesome! Just kidding, haven't eaten it yet but I'm going to now! Count on it!

Do they have a 1st Amendment Right to plead their case, to speak, to assemble?

They seem to be drafting and passing bills, all on their own, without ever having been elected to public office. Direct money for votes

It sounds sorta like, illegal to me. Buy a congresscritter and a couple more of them at the state level, use them as empty husks to filter your legislation, claim innocence, watch the murders pile up and the cash flow in!

It's usually a good idea to consult with experts before you pass legislation.

Not until you tell me if you put on your big boy panties.

Even if you refuse to answer the question, you've still acknowledged that you think that it's reasonable to joke about gun nuts shooting politicians since you blame other people for not taking a joke about it.

So act like a child all you like, it's just yet another detestable thing you've said which you'll no doubt claim didn't happen.

They, like most other activist organizations, have been co opted by the most extreme. (Think: Sierra Club)

They have an undue influence using industry money to buy and threaten politicians.

This makes them powerful. More powerful than simply an activist organization, they are an industry lobby as well. And power corrupts. The NRA is now irrevocably corrupted by fanaticism and power.

Make them illegal? No. Strip them of industry funding? Yes. Use our own First Amendment rights to tear them down? Absolutely. They are doing a fairly good job of it themselves with NRA TV through. What only fanatical members were exposed to, is now widely available to everyone. And the bat shit insanity of it doesn't air well out in the open.

BTW, you're speaking to a former NRA member who left in the mid 90s because of their bat shit insanity. I dare say, what used to be a grass roots gun safety and education organization is now an extremist organization funded for the most part by an industry, not it's members.

You ask. I give a reasonable reply and then you put words in my mouth I never said. I'm still waiting on an answer from you.
