JC Denton has better lines and although Duke has some nice weapons (I :heart: the shrinkray) the game he's in isn't all that great.

Those lines suck goat balls. I LOVED Deus Ex but none of the lines were catchy.
 
i miss deathmatching in Duke. especially shooting guys from far away with the chain gun and hearing them say "ow! ow!"

what a great game.

i was 12-0 on Case's Ladder and in the top 80 or so... even had the little matchstick with the "HOT" logo next to my handle... I ended up losing 13 straight at that point and quit the ladder. ehhe!!

But JC Denton killed multiple androids (who have murdered thousands upon thousands) just by talking to them. Not to mention he can kill multiple squads of troopers with a combat knive and become king of the world.

uhhhh...it had M-Look...it was like +mlook command I think
Or was it one of those games that had autoaim no matter what...as long as you were facing the enemy and shot, it hit them

I downloaded something to try to get it working again (i think it was from Biostud or FFactoryX - one of the crow av guys) but never tinkered with it too much. I'd kill to play good old Duke3D with WADS & mouselook though. I'd pay $50 for that over any new game.

Yeah, but it didn't work like a regular FPS where movement was fluid like in a buble... it was more like you were working a joystick with a barrel shaped socket instead of a ball shaped socket... just wasn't flud....

It really wasn't before mouselook. Duke3d had mouselook and you almost certainly used it if you were any good.
