One of my pomeranian is 20 lbs and the other is about 17 lbs. How much does a cat weight?

no issues with him so far. He's very playful, don't bark that much at all. He does sh$t and pee alot. He would never pee in his cage, only in the house. hehehe. But when i take him outside, he does his business there. As of right now, he's very obidience. Like today, he accidentally bite my girlfriend finger so she yelled at him. Then he just started licking her finger. He has the cutest walk too.

So

I had a cat whose weight peaked @ 21 pounds (and he lived to ~13). He was a cripple, so we forgave his fatness, but he was a big cat anyway, would have been 10+ lbs if he was thin.

I'm not familiar with the breed. What about them makes them high maintenance?

They need regular grooming and brushing. On the plus side they love people and receiving attention:)

people love my dog. :) last week, when we were at Petsmart, everyone want to play with it. No time to shop.

It's like small and fluffy!
I better not show that picture to my wife, she'll want one of those dogs too.

We have a Pom too (luckily picked him up at the shelter) - had to wait "in line" the following Monday at 430am to make sure we were first at 7am. Poor guy was lost... our gain.

He's definitely got a holier-than-thou attitude, but that comes with the territory and we accept it. He never listens except when it's time to eat or we tell him to do his business.. he runs down to the garage and waits for us to open the door for him... they're one of the smarter breeds I've read. He even recognizes our house at the end of his walk... he'd start up the driveway before I even make the turn. I just love him to death... especially when he prances.. that's the cute walk you were talking about... very playful. I don't know about that bad temper at age 9 or 10 like someone mentioned... that remains to be seen.

Anyway, they're not for everyone, especially owners who want a "practical" dog - whatever that means... they're pets.

Anyway, here's pics of Simba. Most of that was when he was 3. BTW, I've read they shouldn't be any more than 10 lbs. Ours is 11 so he's a bit overweight as the vet confirmed. Some of you need to put yours on a diet asap.

I'd love to get a Westy next... just so we don't get used to the silence...

Lol no sh!t, I'm on a lowish speed DSL connection and each pic took close to a full minute to download. There are programs out there that let you easily scale pictures, man ;)

Very cute dog :)

Not all little ones are yappers, my shih tsu is about 14lbs, semi-smart, very affectionate, and rarely barks past a "hey, someone's at the door" type of thing.
