Now the Republican Presidential Field is All White Men...

With Bachmann out recently and Cain out too, it's only white men remaining. Who would have seen this one coming?

And until last election that same applied to the Dems.

Why try to make a stink out of nothing.

Neither side has produce a female presidential candidate, only VP candidates.

Could have swore the last election went down to a black male and white women for the dems.

If people would stop giving a shit about race and sex but instead character and experience we might not be in the shitstorm we are in now. I know I am preaching to the choir of course.

Words. They, like, mean stuff. In this case, they mean that until the last election, the Dems too never had a serious black or female Presidential primary candidate, and even the Dems haven't yet produced a female Presidential candidate. Hilary did not get the nomination.

Sadly, the Republicans were on track for a black on black Presidential race. Hope that was one fine piece of tail, Herman . . .

When Sarah Palin and Michelle Backmann were the only females expected to enter the 2012 GOP POTUS field, and Palin didn't run, its hard to make a case for GOP sexism, given how poor a candidate Backmann proved to be.

Even if we assume every vote Michelle got came from a Iowa female, all it would prove is that 90% of the female Iowa electorate flat out didn't like the ideas of Michelle Backmann.

Lordi gee, its hard to claim to be a leader when you don't have any followers.

I don't think that's fair. The Republican party has issues, but this misrepresents them.

Maybe Cain would have had race problems eventually maybe not, but it's not why he crashed in the race.

The party put him out in front in polling, and that speaks more loudly.

The fool (OP) is trolling

Bachman nor Cain, regardless of the former being a woman and the latter a black man, neither was ever truly qualified to be a Presidential candidate.

And the whitest, Santorum, is a totally different animal. Extremely dangerous.
No one took note that when giving his exit speech in iOwa,
Santorum had Bob Vander Plaats on his left, and the head of the
group NOM "National Organization For Marriage" on his right.
The only thing missing were the white hoods.
But I guess they don't wear them anymore...
Very evil people, hiding behind religion to further their agenda of division and hate.
All I have to say is WATCH OUT! These people ARE NOT what they pretend to be....
Extremely Anti-black, anti-women, anti-gay.
Just take note of the "code" words often spoken by Santorum, as this progresses.
For example, he Santorum, stated in that exit speech, of the attack on the "family"
by several sources, including the "media".
Santorum, if given the chance, would fully intend to censor freedom of speech
in America. Censorship to fit "their/his" religious agenda.
People supporting Santorum have no idea just how dangerous this fundie freak actually is.
But he seems such a nice family guy in person (they will say) ...

The women to come along, save Hillary, have been total imbeciles who in fact make other women look bad.

Men already look bad because of dolts like Dubya and Cain.

Michael Moore have seen this way way before you and the likes like you:

...and, it comes time, when and like you, to experience, how right Michael Moore was...

Nice spin. The only reason Cain is out is because he scared the shit out of liberals. The only claim to fame Obama has is appearing Black and Cain takes that away. Imagine the confusion on election day if Black people had to choose between two Black men. Liberals could not take that chance.

I don't really think "Liberals" get to decide the Republican primary...

I'd say the number of people who voted for Obama because he's black is about the same who hate him for the same reason.

The problem with the racism (and sexism) card is that there's just enough lingering racism and sexism that the issues can't quite be ignored. As long as SOME people treat it like an issue, from whatever side, it becomes an issue.

Anyone else find it ironic that the same people that repeatedly and viciously attacked Bachmann and Cain to force them out of the race are now aghast that only white men are still in it?

Whereas Hillary and Obama, who had never worked in the private sector for any length of time and barely served at a federal level before running for President, were totally qualified because, um . . .
Because they wear a cap with a donkey on it?

I think it's worth pointing out that woman (50% of the population) and blacks (13% of the population) are generally underrepresented at the top levels of the Republican Party, recognizing also that although the Democrat Party has the same problem, it's worse with the Pubbies.

True, although I think being black was a valid reason to vote for Obama. Were I black, I would be quite disturbed that we had never had a black President. (Being white I was only mildly disturbed.)

LOL +1

Last I checked the US is still White majority. As they say in South Africa...Majority rules. But attacking white males is the easy thing to do these days. Its the only group that is not a protected class in this country [unless your a white male AND gay ofc, then you are protected for liking it in the A].

Id like to know why some people rag on the Republican candidates for being all white, yet mention zip-zero-nada about Obama being black and from a community that is only 13% of the population. Why should a 13%'r run this country and that is perfectly A'ok, but heaven forbids if all of the candidates are from the 63% portion of the population which is clearly the majority.

My answer is - guilt. White folks like to feel good by the thought of voting for a black guy, since in the past slavery happened etc etc. And mentioning that discrepancy of a 13%'r would be...[drum rolls please]...Racist. Supposedly atleast, that word is thrown around like the word "blue" these days.

Personally though, I dont care that the President is black. Or Purple, but I do care when people rag on the Repubs for being all white [now], and make no mention as to why that is wrong or a bad thing [its not at all]. If THAT is wrong, then surely Obama [being black and from a 13% minority] is even worse.
