Wow, it doesn't show up in my IE6... Scary. :Q

(I just used Quick Reply.)

Edit: Oh, it's the arrow? Buh, that's just an extra step! Having the reply box just there like in Opera is much better.

The quick reply doesn't let you select who you are replying to - distroying the huge benefit of viewing threads with the tree structure. Just for fun, change your thread view to "branch view" (It is at the top of the page). Note how I replyed to CraigRT, meaning we can carry on a separate conversation within this thread without scrolling through any other messages unrelated to CraigRT and my post. Very useful - and can save you a lot of time in a long thread with different sub conversations. But the quick reply feature distroys the branching as it doesn't know who to reply to!

I think you must be one of the only ones to do that. If i want to reply, it's normally to a thread, and unless i'm quoting someone will just use the quick reply.

I personally can't stand viewing forums in tree structure. Most of the time people hit any old reply button, or the generic thread reply, and it doesn't work anyway.

It's the red u-turn icon when using IE. It rules. It's moveable as you scroll the page. It's been there since I can remember... which isn't longer than a year ago. ;)

It's stuck on the very bottom if you're using Mozilla/Firefly/Foxylady/etc. That part sux.

What he said.

I always use quick reply unless:

1) I quote
2) use emoticons (too lazy to remember the names)
3) Need to linkify
