Now that it's warm out, what are some summer beers I should check out?

Besides the delicious Bell's Oberon?

I'd advise against going near any summer beers, they're all weak fruity wheat monstrosities that are an affront to the word "beer", but I guess if you like Oberon you're into that kind of thing. Do they still make Zima?

Glad to see after all this time, ATOT still hasn't changed 😛

Get outta here with your stout elitism. Summer's for the fruits my friend.

Fruit is what gets added to beer when everyone knows it tastes like shit. See: Corona.

Lemonade and iced tea are refreshingly citrus-y and who doesn't love a nice gin & tonic with a twist of lime? Summer is indeed the time for fruits, they just don't belong in beer.

My go to's nowadays is Rudee from ska brewing or Pinner from Oskar Blues. Both Session IPA's that hit the spot without feeling heavy.

Alaskan Brewing co. - Alaskan Summer Ale.
Big Sky Brewing co. - Summer Honey.

Thats been my summer ale go to list for years now.

thing is, can you get it wherever it is that you live?

i have recently fallen in love with this awesome beer

Williams Brothers - Caesar Augustus

a cross between an Ale and a Lager, it's crisp & refreshing, but full of taste as an ale should be.
i cannot speak highly enough of it, but, good luck finding it.

Boulevard Wheat is my go-to summer brew.
Founders Centennial IPA is also very yummy when it's hot.

I bet you also hate hops in beer because they add flavors to beer that aren't native to it.

Who says you can only drink alcohol when it's warm out? Nothing like a glass of wine while watching the snow falling outside. 😛

Every year we get a heat wave around this time of year and people like to call it spring, then they all act surprised when it starts to get cold again. It happens every year man, get used to it. 😛 Our heat wave is mostly over now. It was like -30 the other day. Though it's still going all over the place. it's like +3 right now.
