That would be true if there were no debates. I'm confident that 4 will show Dems the differences in the positions of the candidates. It's not like we'll need to take the time to get 17 of 'em to answer the same question.

Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to the Repub field stepping on their dicks in their golf shoes, over and over and over again... While throwing out chunks of red meat to the faithful hoping that nobody will notice.

It is the republicans who need to debate. There are still 16 candidates and they still need to eliminate 15 of them. Until the republicans narrow their field down to a couple of serious candidates, they've got no room to cry about the democrats debates. They still need to clean up their own yard first.

It's more like 4 months until the primaries.

We've seen that televised debates can create big shifts in public support.

The DNC needs to allow the American people to see and hear more candidates, more often.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'd vote for Sanders, if only to shake things up. But you and the rest of Hillary's nuthuggers will do your best to make sure we are only able to choose between a Republican piece of shit and a Democrat piece of shit. Gullible as compared to... Trumpists? Paulists? Jeb lovers? Any of the adherents to the right wing ideology of tearing down the govt & impoverishing the middle class, stacking the Scotus with ideologues?

I both admire & respect Sanders whose ideology is much like my own. OTOH, I don't think he can win the general election. He's also 74 years old. We need a two term Democrat & I doubt that he can go the distance holding the most demanding job in the world.
