well ours was 15$ from the tree lot, i dont think ive ever paied more thne like 40$ for a tree from a lot

Yep, same here, but probably only $5 for the gas. It'll likely be a butt-ugly tree compared to a commercial one, but alot more fun!

Oddly, the xmas tree farms around here ARE commercial enterprises.. So, the quality varies from Charlie Brown to perfect.
