This is one of those things that make you kick yourself in the ass for not thinking of it first. No matter how pewpy the idea, people will be on this thing like white on rice.

its a good idea to make money off of, but damn those are stupid, real life rice is bad enough, why teach young children to rice out their cars when they grow up !? :D

edit: at least i hope they are for little kids

Nifty. I like how they linked all the sponsors official websites at the bottom of the page. Makes it easier to surf Hi-po websites.

Otherwise I agree with notfred. Nice Cobra BTW.

Because ricers never really grow up.

I admit that I own rice and if they had a model of my car I'd buy one just b/c I take alot of pride in my car.

I prefer the ones you have to paint and glue together yourself.

So do I.

The Civic Type-R and the Civic Si aren't rice either...when a four-banger can out-run a V-8...namely the Mustang (not the GT)...in a stock vs stock run, I'd say that's a decent car.

i don't think people understand what rice means.

it's a term given to wanna-be-fast cars... usually with ridiculous amounts of fake stuff.
it's those cars that are not built to go fast... but with some outter modification... the car appears as if it should.

let me give you an example.

1. any inline 4 engines with dual exaust.
2. fake disk brakes without boots.
3. fake emblems.
. vtec stickers on cars without vtec engine in them
. typeR sticker

...
the list goes on and on

But theres one problem

They dont have cars where they SHOULDN'T be modified. Such as Carmys, Accord 4d's.

But geez, 1/43 scale is pretty small....

It's not that people don't understand, it's just that there are alot of different meanings. At least out here in TN. Most people who drive a domestic believe that rice is any japanese car. If you drive an import, its a car that tries to look fast/look like something it's not but has no power (the definition I agree with). If you drive rice, it's anyone who drives up next to you.
I've seen many riced out V-6 mustangs with type-R stickers and dodge neons with VTEC stickers...it's really quite sad.

I'm no avid Ford supporter, but a non-GT? Puh-lease. Those were built just to boost sales and are driven by 16yo girls. Also I believe they're 6-cyl.

BTW, I believe the Dodge Neon R/T was in fact a VTEC. :) That doesn't change the fact it is still a Neon though. :p
