The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness: 9/10
Documentary on Japanese animation company Studio Ghibli and the company founders:
Filmmakers Hayao Miyazaki (left) and Isao Takahata (right) and producer Toshio Suzuki (middle).
It follows them as they work to release two films simultaneously, The Wind Rises (directed by Miyazaki) and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (directed by Takahata).
When you think Studio Ghibli, you think of legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki.
When Miyazaki retired in 2013, the company almost closed down in 2014.
(This was not in the documentary but on Studio Ghibli's wiki page.
Also from the wiki, Miyazaki has come out of retirement for one last film with a 2021 release date.
He's aged 79 now
