Bright, 8.0/10 on Netflix. I did enjoy it, it looked great in 4K. The message was obvious, it was about racial tension. Seems to me the Elfs where the white people, the Orcs were the black people. Upper class and lower class. And about the first Orc becoming a cop, do the dismay to both races, and humans. He was a traitor to other Orcs and the humans didn't want him either. Both tried to take him out. It had a good message overall I thought, and I did enjoy it. Something we need more of today. There is already a second signed on which is good.
I like Will Smith and thought he did well. I was happy to see Joel Edgerton as the Orc cop, from one of the brother in Warrior. I was especially happy to see Noomi Rapace in it. I am a fan of hers after watching her in The Girl with with Dragon Tattoo (Millennium), Swedish version. Nothing really stood out about her performance in this, but am still a fan.
Netflix is on the ball with movies and TV shows now days. I watch it as much or more than regular TV. And unlike TV, it has 4K on newer titles usually.
