If they find that it was indeed the motive, that would mean the kid was radicalized to revenge something that happened four years before he was even born yet. He's only 20 yo. His mother and step-dad are both MAGA chuds, btw. BuT d0Ze ViOlEnT rAdIcAl LiBrUhLs

In case you've been missing mass shootings...

4 Dead, plus 4 critical and 16 others injured in shooting at a South Carolina Bar.

Booze and guns and carry laws that allow all eligible people 18 and up to have handguns open or concealed without a permit. I'm not surprised, just saddened - yet again.

Apple pie, medical bankruptcy, state piracy and murder on the high seas, and school shootings, this is what the United States is all about.

For every mass gun shooting around the world, there’s like 50 in the US
I am (not) looking forward to the ‘I tHoUGhT gUN CoNTrol WoRKeD!’ shit that is coming for precisely this reason.

The US has hundreds of mass shootings and they are like ‘nothing to be done!’ and then places that have almost none have one and somehow it is an endorsement of the ‘do nothing’ people.

Updated casualties list now has it at least 16 people are dead and 38 others injured.

A brief summary;
  • Two gunmen opened fire on an event marking the first day of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach on Sunday evening. At least 1,000 people were in attendance.
  • The two gunmen, aged 24-years-old and 50-years-old, are father and son. A law enforcement source tells the ABC one of the alleged gunmen is Naveed Akram, a man from Sydney's south-west.
  • NSW authorities say 15 people, including a 10yo girl, were killed. The total death toll is 16, including the gunman.
  • A British-born rabbi was also among those killed.
  • The incident has been declared a terrorist attack by NSW Police, with federal authorities also joining the investigation. Police are also investigating whether a third person was allegedly involved in the attack.
  • Forty-two people were taken to hospital, including police officers responding to the scene. One of our reporters describes the inside of a Sydney hospital responding to the attack as being "like a war zone".
  • A crime scene declaration is still current in Bondi. It is unclear how long the area will remain a crime scene. Police also remain outside the shooter's family home following a late-night raid.
  • US President Donald Trump has described it as a "terrible attack", while the FBI is pledging to assist Australian agencies.
  • Footage verified by the ABC shows a member of the public wrestling a shotgun out of the hands of one of the attackers. NSW Premier Chris Minns says the act saved lives.

From my memory the last mass shooting here in Australia was the Port Arthur Massacre almost 20 30 years ago.

Australia going to update their gun laws on the wake of the Bondi Beach mass shooting. Their last mass shooting was 1996.

In the US we know have our first victim surviving 2 mass shootings. One in high school and one in college.

You only wish that this was the first case of someone surviving 2 mass shootings in the US:

Somehow I'm still shocked that there are ghouls out there who will point to a mass shooting in another country and say "see? Everything is cool in the US".

Im waiting for the charlie kirk moment when some conservative area gets torn apart by an event like this and everyone will go "FAFO" just like charlie kirk. No we arent celebrating the death of your children, but we arent surprised that this happened when you continually voted for it, and we're not going to feel that bad for you.

The babylon bee tried to make light of this shit and it really pissed me off.

In my eyes there's a big difference in a planned terrorist attack versus random mass shootings. The terrorist would have armed themselves and attacked one way or another once they are set on it. The others are able to do so due to the easy access of guns.
