I have no idea how people can live with a roommate. I would HATE the feeling of being a guest in the place I'm living.

Living with a roommate's easy, I'm almost never at home, so I never even see them. And instead of an $1,800+ mortgage, I pay $450 for what's basically the exact same thing if I didn't have one. I couldn't even tell you the last time I physically saw my roomie.
 
Good roommates don't make you feel like a guest...they make the place you are living at feel like home. It's like always having friends over except you don't feel the need to entertain.

Never really had a bad roommate, besides one guy who jerked off in the dorm room...while I was in it....

oh man. I had a dorm mate who would jerk off all the time. the room fucking stunk of it. it didn't matter if i was in the room studying he would whip it out and start jerking. it was gross.

I'm not sure if that is worse or my dorm roommate attempting to have sex with his girlfriend when they thought I was sleeping.

I got the best of him, though. I waited until he started going, picked up a pom-pom that I got from a basketball game, and cheered him on: "Go! Go! Stroke! Stroke!" The girl was mortified for weeks.
 
I only had roommates in the army but never had a problem,we lived by two rules:

rule 1: you snore I will throw a fucking boot in your face.

rule 2: annoy the rest of us and we will strip you of your clothes, scrub you down with our boot polishing kits and drop you off naked on the firing ranges.

we did come up with a new rule at the end, walk around naked with gross amounts of bodyhair and we will hold you down and wax your whole body (that was pretty gay, but also damned funny).
 
Haha, some funny ones there. Thankfully I've had good roommates throughout college and afterwards. Worst complaint was them not doing their dishes often enough but that's not the end of the world.

Oh, fuck that guy! I hate roommates like that.

I live with 3 other girls now and one of them gets on my nerves, she's a clean freak and will bitch about having a spoon in the sink. A few weeks back, she started yelling at me because I didn't take out the garbage.

Yea, bitch...the reason why I didn't take it out is because you spend all your free time cooking and filling it up. I rarely get to cook because you're always in there, so, I keep my trash in my room.

I take out MY garbage.
