Back when I was a little Possessed, I took a wart off my knee cap with a pair of nail clippers. One snip all the way down at the skin level... GONE. Never to return. It did bleed a lot. I have an indentation left.

Your knee cap is one thing, your index finger is a little more sensitive. Think I'd pass out if I did that without anything to dull the pain. Remember the base of a wart is fairly wide and a lot of the base is just regular flesh and not part of the wart.

Kosher or sea salt works really well also. It helps the blood to coagulate and will kill the wart. Seriously, try it 🙂

OP, have you tried the apple cider vinegar trick yet?

You soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and tape it over the wart while you sleep at night. Do this every night and the wart will fall off after 1-7 days.

Sounds crazy, but I've had really good luck with this technique.

If you're a little ballsier you can make a small incision, and put an ACV soaked Q-tip right up inside the wart. It will disintegrate it pretty quickly. Burns like a bastard. Dress it properly.

OP, if I found myself in a similar situation I probably would have done the same thing. My insurance plan sucks so bad the cutting off a wart is probably considered a "surgical" procedure. My co-pay for such a procedure is a whopping $150!

My technique is to cut out as much as I can with nailclippers (not to the point of bleeding though) and then use whatever treatment method I choose. I figure the less wart I have to remove, the easier it will be.

Never did a wart, but did clip a couple or pesky blackheads off, near my eyes. It did bleed a bit for a few hours, but eventually stopped. So far, those blackheads have not returned. Should see a dermatologist to get rid of the other ones I can't do myself.

I ripped one out of the under side of my foot as well as another on the top of my index finger. Bled like hell, but never came back. Cutting it really doesn't do the trick, you need to get the root out to get the job done right.

I had a big one on the knuckle of my pointer finger i tried a few different methods of getting it off.

My uncle (he was 18 i was 15) told me that if i got a pair of pliers and yanked it off it wouldn't go back. So i iced it up as well as i could and had him yank it off. it took 2-3 yanks but he pulled the fucker out. after it was gone i had a hole in my finger that bled bad for a few hours.

After it was done he said "damn waggy i was kidding! but hell it worked"

L0cutus, what made you so fvcking busy you couldn't walk to the pharmacy?

Fvck your stupid threads are getting annoying.

Rambo Style? Sorry don't have a flame thrower handy.

Just heat up a butterknife on your stove until it's red hot then and then touch the tip to the bleeding spot. Guaranteed to stop the bleeding and stop any infection.
