Apparently, they are giving 200 bucks any working cell phone towards a Note 4. Goodbye Blackberry touch and horrible airwave. hello note 4!

Who's giving $200 for any working cell phone. I still have my Samsung Galaxy Nexus that was retired 17 months ago when I got my current HTC One.

Honestly, someone that really cares about sound quality would never use their phone's speakers anyway. I'm not an audiophile and I almost always use headphones when I want to listen to something on my phone.

not always. sometimes you want a loud enough sound from your phone to hear it while hands free in a room of people. volume is almost more important than quality on a cell phone IMO

I would like to see Samsung adopt front facing speakers, though even when I had the M7 I would only use the speakers when showing a video to someone else.

I agree, I would use headphones for sound quality, but using any phone on speaker phone with a speaker in the back is horrid.

these. i use headphones while working, especially when in a plant with a ton of noise. speaker phone is useless at that point, and some of my tech calls will last an hour or more. but, when i can, i like to just set it down in my work area and let the music play while im up and down, moving around working. head phones get in the way of that. the note 3 speaker is plenty loud usually, but get any kind of ambient noise and you lose a lot of the volume. i shouldnt have to keep a bluetooth powered speaker around just to listen to music without headphones.

Yeah in the comments of that thread it says it will double your trade in value up to a maximum amount of $200 trade in.

It says UP TO $200. Would they really give you $200 for a Blackberry Touch or a 3GS?

Some promotions can be aggressive. I think it was last year when Target was offering $200 off of iPads by trading in any other ipad. Even gen 1's that were worth 1/4 of that.

If Samsung really wants to try and aggressively market the Note 4 against the Apple 6+ it could do similar things.

I hope so. If so I'm trading in my mother-in-law's Moto Razer smartphone, giving her my S4 and upgrading to the Note 4.

According to the websites I have read that is old promotion. The new promotion is any working cell phone and they will give you 200 bucks towards the Note 4. Heck they were giving away free money for the iphone 6. The iphone 4's were going for 200. They were def losing money on that.

Time will tell. If they don't do this promotion then I won't buy a note 4. 100 vs 300 is a huge price difference to upgrade from a note 2.

Samsung might get aggressive. The news in South Florida is hyping up the Iphone 6 like there has never been a phone that size or have a 8mp camera. I have yet to see a segment on the note 4. They don't even reference it.

I already see their out for older phones. The phone must have a trade in value of $10. Best Buy shows a value of $5 for my 3GS, so I might be sol.

I am screwed. The value is the same at at&t.

This is an insane deal.

Only problem is that my mom's upgrade doesn't kick in until early November. Let's see if AT&T will move that up.

If it's any working cell phone that's just nuts. In that case I have an old OG Droid that still works fine!

I've got a bunch of old Windows Mobile phones (some dont even have touch screens), it would almost be worth it to post some to you guys just to use in that promo (assuming that its not active in the UK). :awe:

I might have to send the G3 packing with the $200 trade-in deal.

Should pair nicely with the Tab S 10.5 I just picked up. I'm sold on QHD Amoleds after using this tablet for two days.
