What is the cost of insulin now to medicare patients? I would assume most people on medicare have some supplement that covers prescription drugs. As they say, the devil is in the details.

Who wants Democrats dead? Making shit up again? Do you always pick out the words you want and forget the rest?
Really? You going to quibble with that vs a President thanking someone wishing for dead democrats?

That's like lauding the fact Hitler loved dogs. Whatever, wordsmith.

Dont tell me you interpreted that quote to mean, like, physically dead, even though he said otherwise......

He re-tweeted a video saying exactly that: link
Of course, he will use his usual tactics of denial "I did not say it, somebody else did" or "I was just joking" or some sort of other obfuscation, but the seed is sown in his bat-shit crazy base. It is simply unbelievable that in such a time of national disaster as the Covid epidemic, he has basically doubled down on sowing hate, racism, division, and bias on a daily basis. Of course nothing will be done due to the republican senate, but forget about impeachment, he should be removed as per the 25th amendment for mental incompetence.

Remember all those times Obama thanked people for wanting Republicans dead. Those were the days!

I suggest you peruse the thread on this cherry picked statement.

-It only helps his voting base. Plenty of much younger type 1 diabetics that this will not help at all, since this is all medicare based, but they weren't going to vote for him anyway so *shrug*.

That being said, never let good be the enemy of perfect.

The article directly says it's because he's losing to Biden with seniors in the polls. He's trying to buy older voters.

I don't really care if he's doing the right thing for the wrong reason, as that's about as good as it gets with Trump. Then again, we'll wait and see how good it turns out to be. As the article points out, premiums will go up. That's the thing about conservative ideology as it relates to healthcare. Someone always has to pay for whatever new benefit is being offered, and if you're a republican, it sure isn't going to be the government.

The evidence indicates that the quality of care at the VA is comparable to that of regular US hospitals despite serving a far more challenging population so sure.

Since the system is publicly run it is more transparent than private hospitals so you hear more about its problems but I consider that a feature, not a bug.

If government health care doesn’t work then how do you explain this? Has this changed your mind?

For just half a second can you stop googling "DUH VA IS REARY REARY GOOD ARTICLES" ?

RAND Corporation ("Research ANd Development")[7] is an American nonprofit global policy think tank[1] created in 1948 by Douglas Aircraft Company to offer research and analysis to the United States Armed Forces. It is financed by the U.S. government and private endowment,[6] corporations,[8] universities[8] and private individuals.[8] T

Jeebus christ.

How about this: We probably have some vets on this site, perhaps they can give their 2 cents of how the VA is (presuming they have been somewhere OTHER than the VA as well to know the difference).

I am literally a vet and I have been to a VA hospital. I have also been to other hospitals. I have already given my two cents.

lol.

This is what I meant earlier; you should stop calling other people stupid while in the midst of showing your own stupidity.

Seriously can you possibly imagine anyone on here revealing themselves to be stupider than you just did here? I imagine you will just pretend it never happened but.. Jesus. Talk about owning yourself.

Great! You are ONE record. How about some others?

If you can't see the fallacy in your article links then you should probably seek another hospital.

I like how you said you wanted to hear from a vet and then once when told you something you didn’t want to hear you threw a shit fit.

The dumbness. The sheer dumbness.

Why bother? Anything I post is declared a total loss. For reasons.

Because the Trump presidency is a total loss, and no one who's not a fool will ever believe anything that comes out of his mouth, or any action he takes is not for his own personal benefit.

You don't seem to realize this, and are treated with the same skepticism and derision as if Trump said it himself.

My husband is a medicare patient with a prescription supplement and he pays $10 for 5 Lantus SoloStar 3ml pens (5 last him almost 5 months). I guess some plans are better than others.
