Northface jackets

Seriously... today I saw a bunch of guys wearing Timberland boots. WTF is up with that? Must be something new.

I can proudly say that I wore North Face before it became a fad.

More expensive at the time too....

I've moved on (Arcteryx, Cloudveil, Backcountry).

their michelin man dawn jacket is very good, light, warm and the fabric is unbelievably strong even though it's thin.

Yeah, good techincal outerwear makes it great outdoors gear but most never use it for that.

they are lightweight and warm. maybe a little trendy but they do a great job.

but as PP said, not exactly the "latest" trend. 5 years from now you can post about these new ugg boots with fur everyone is wearing.

I've had one for about 5 years now. It's a Gore-Tex outer shell. I couldn't give two craps about it being trendy. It's comfortable, versatile, functional, and has held up well for something that gets worn probably 150 days a year x 5 years.

Those sound HOT!

I've checked them out and they seem quite comfortable, but nowhere near the quality of the similarly priced browning and carhartt jackets we have at our store.

This

My current North Face coat is thus far the longest surviving winter coat I've owned by a signifigant margin.
