New storm is on the way. Northeaster Quinn will hit the NY / NJ / CT / NE area starting later this afternoon. New York and New Jersey can easily get 8 to 12 inches of heavy, wet snow .... March is living up to it's reputation of "in like a lion, out like a lamb" ... will see how the month ends --- get your snow shovels or snow throwers ready

except 10 to 15 inches across interior portions of the Lower Hudson Valley, and most of interior southern Connecticut. Locally higher amounts are possible.

Well, I guess I'm working from home tonight. :p

Meetings already canceled tomorrow. I was just gonna go in but looks like nobody else wanted to.

I think I love snow days now even more than I did as a child ...

The goal is to have a just enough winter for me to say 'I'm WFH' while the daycare still opens.

I mean winter = snow. Marijuanically speaking LOL

Says 3-5" for us in the middle of LI. Crazy for March.

I remember when I was in Buffalo it was normal for snow in April.

Funny... they were calling the storm "Elsa" on my local station. Damn... if I didn't have enough of a reason to hate that name already.

I don't get the Frozen hate. It's hip but has zero merit. That film is excellent and a great comeback for Disney brand (although all the creative dept are taken over by Pixar).

Overexposure. I think there would be less hate of it were it not practically everywhere (people singing the theme, marketing and merchandising everywhere, etc) after release.

I liked it.

You must not have a 5 year old kid who wanted to hear that damn song over and over again for 3 months straight :)

Seems it's the south that keeps getting all the snow now days. We used to get lot of snow way back in the day, now we have maybe 2 feet on the ground if that? Got a couple small storms but nothing too serious.

The cold never bothered me anyway. :p

Central MA should get about a foot of snow. I might have to take a day off work next week to go snowboarding!

That is the same storm that hit Minnesota yesterday. We don't bother to name them and I don't know why the need a name anyway.

That seems to be a new trend, makes me laugh too. Or a few years ago when they decided to call "winter" a "polar vortex". It happens every year! They kept talking about it like it was unusual. Yeah, it's cold in winter. News at 6:00. :p
