Well, perhaps that settles who the least stable genius is...though I suspect Trump sometimes wishes he could do the same to Pompeo.

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea executed Kim Hyok Chol, its special envoy to the United States, and foreign ministry officials who carried out working-level negotiations for the second U.S.-North Korea summit in February, holding them responsible for its collapse, a South Korean newspaper reported on Friday.

I'm sure Trump is jealous of Kim that he can do that kind of summary "justice" at a whim. Trump would be able to get rid of all of his enemies, control the media, give himself free access to the treasury, make business deals with every dictator the world over who see things the way he does and invade Iran all in the same day.

In other words, if he gets reelected well we all asked for it because sure as Ivanka gets her products made in China, Trump is gonna bend things in that direction as hard and and as fast as McConnell, Graham and his pet stooges in the Supreme Court can make it happen.

Well, the problem here is that Trump repeatedly lays platitudes at Kim's feet. The point is to continue to show that Trump is categorically full of shit and a failure. Our president (someone we should be able to trust) is telling us that Kim is good guy, smart guy, good leader, etc... It is important that we demonstrate that these statements are absolutely false. If Trump would say, "Kim is a murderer and horrible dictator, but as a world leader I think that I must make attempts to work with him" you would not have this thread.

do recall that the "justification" for these murders would be the failure of the meeting--the one that Trump walked out on like a little pouty bitch. Kim is going to pin this all on Trump. Dude is nuts, of course, but there's the image.

So...what are the chances that during these negotiations, Pompeo also offered some incentives for the envoy to betray KJU in some way? I’m curious whether there was some hidden agenda—was Pompeo’s team trying to glean intelligence, perhaps on who might be left to betray KJU if the US were to tighten the embargo screws??
 
Trump can just haul out his recent missle launch statement, tweak a few words and he'll be good to go.

North Korea executed some small officials, which disturbed some of my people, and others, but not me. I have confidence that Chairman Kim will keep his promise to me. My people think it could have been a violation, I view it differently.

Trump won't ever talk about this. It's unimportant and irrelevant to the most important thing that is, himself. He is a man who has never once to my knowledge demonstrated not just empathy, but a fundamental inability to understand the very concept. To you and I, it has as much meaning as "covfefe".
