This story didn't get a lot of coverage and I don't think anyone posted it so I figure I'll create a thread. I find this to be simply ridiculous and preposterous. The North Koreans are crazy to expect even one dollar from the US let alone $65 trillion in compensation for the damages that's done to the country. They truly have no one to blame but themselves. At the same time, they need to get their facts straight and that it was them who invaded South Korea and not the other way around.

Actually both sides were conducting cross border raids before the invasion. That would not have been happening if, after being liberated from Japanese rule, Korea had not been divided after World War II.
