I meant 6 possible cases you numbnuts, how was that not obvious by my post? 6 people who were tested.

It could help alleviate the panic in the public maybe because you have to remember how stupid your average person is. They don't realize that these numbers are skyrocketing simply because there are more people being tested.
still whats your point in negative tests? just % of wrong guesses when they are testing? they dont test hardly anyone, you have to meet this retarded criteria of knowing someone with the virus, have a fever cough / pneumonia, traveled out of the country and then have two dr's sign off on it to get a test. i will be so excited when the testing becomes privatized and you can go to the local lab and find out in 24 or less hours.

We need to figure out what the hell Germany is doing and copy it. They have more confirmed cases than the US and yet their mortality rate is 0.29%. Wtf is going on? The current US mortality rate is 1.5%. And then there’s Italy, which is pushing 9%.
Sauerkraut. ;) I think Germany is using lot of the test kits from South Korean companies. Don't really know why Germany mortality rate is so low.

the freaking argument in this thread is going to kill me before corona does

M-m-my carona.

Let me ask you something, are you bona-fide?

I mean, let's just go ahead and say it. Its their pure Aryan blood. And what this means is that white people need to be killed and their blood drank. Its full of gold, and vitamins, and Lucky Charms! RACE WAR 2020!!!!! Fuck yes, its finally happening. Poor Charlie Manson didn't live to see the day.

its too late to be arguing about masks. there are no more masks. why are we even talking about masks?

When this is all over I gotta remember to get myself a stash of dust masks, surgical masks, and gas masks. (Or rather one gas mask and a bunch of filters.)

PornHub keeps shoving cam girl ads in my face. I do not want cam girls.
But a thought occurred to me: With all these people locked in their homes theres probably gonna be a lot more guys watching cam girls. That increases demand.
HOWEVER: Theres also gonna be way more girls camming out of neccessity and boredom, so THAT will increase supply.
Are prices going to move or stay the same as before the quarantine?

Huh? I can do without those just fine, what the hell is it with you? You say we're gonna "rot" if we stay home? I don't know what you're home is like but mine isn't going to make me rot. I'm playing this by ear and day to day. You're sore cause they want you to stay home. Man up!

“Man up” is a funny statement from someone admitting he’s willing to hide out in his house for years. You’re the guy who claims to have never had a vacation, so your opinion is next to worthless on the “how to enjoy life” scale. If you want to live life hiding in your house for years (which is what we were discussing - a potential quarantine of years), be my guest - stand out of the way while the rest of us live life.

Why don't you do the grown up thing and live in the moment? The situation is going to continue to change on a daily basis. What we know is going to morph, studies will flesh out, discoveries will be made, statistical analyses will emerge. Don't make up your mind now how you are going to behave in 2 months with regard to this.

Keep up here - we weren’t discussing the current quarantine. We were discussing the story of possible quarantine of over a year. I am not quarantining myself for 1, 2 ,3, or more years - some of us want to get out and see the world. Shocking, I know.

Yeah, a year or longer quarantine would be ridiculous and completely destroy the economy; this would be the scenario of "don't worry about your 401k, the stock market always recovers. If it didn't, we'd have worse things to worry about."

There might be a job for you in the White House. Well, maybe in the back rooms.

I‘m really not sure what your issue is, but I frankly don’t care. What I’ve gathered from your posts here is that you’re like 90 years old, claim to have never been on a vacation, and seem to have lived a pretty weird life. Wait, nevermind, that explains it all.

Just got an email from my plant's Union regarding their meeting with management, they've been "instructed by corporate to run 100% production until someone tests positive AT THE PLANT for covid19" awesome, by the time someone tests positive it will probably be running rampant amongst us.

Careful, DHT Osiris and Geezorro Muse will be along any minute to tell you how selfish and unreasonable you are for not wanting to barricade yourself in your house for years on end and that it’s completely abnormal for you to want to live your actual life because someone MIGHT get sick.

Anytime I hear "year-long quarantine" I immediately picture the city-wide lockdown from The Dark Knight Rises.

Year long quarantine is Mad Max world. Seriously. There would be no world economy and your money would be worthless.

So now you're just pulling percentages out of your ass?

No, I'm not an expert. I'm just smart enough to listen to EVERY FUCKING MEDICAL expert and they all have advised that masks alone DO NOT protect people from infection.
Trolling any?

I would frickin love a year long plus quarantine. We already make better food than most restaurants every night, I talk to all my friends that matter at least three times a week over some online gaming, more time for practicing music, reading, video games, hiking (with no traffic on the roads to get there), work from home every day ... this is the introvert’s dream.

Careful, DHT Osiris and Geezorro Muse will be along any minute to tell you how shockingly selfish and unreasonable you are for not wanting to barricade yourself in your house restrict your social engagements for years on end an undetermined time, which might extend into months/years off and on and that it’s completely abnormal for you to want to live your actual self-defined requirements in life because someone MIGHT get sick will most likely die.
