Needs to be replicated to confirm, but according to Indian researchers, they found HIV virus-like insertions within nCoV which are exceedingly unlikely to develop naturally, indicating it's probably designed.

The perfect bio weapon wouldn't be too deadly as the odds of it getting back into your population is high. Instead you want it to be crazy contagious and tie up as many resources in the target country as possible. This virus actually perfectly fits a use case for bio weapons.

I have not been on the escaped bio weapon wagon so far but those genes are really interesting.

Actually, counter-counter argument, would explain why cited numbers are so much lower than what boots on the ground appear to be seeing. Could be that the mortality rate is higher than even liberal values.

Since I don't plan to leave my house, I'm concerned more from the economic impact this coronavirus will have and the fear that is in the stock market. When I was modeling the possible peak hysteria from the financial markets about this virus, I was modeling this weekend as the peak. Maybe that's too early. But the mass hysteria from governments and companies reacting seem to be peaking up steam exponentially.

Peak would be right before additional cases start popping up outside China such as the four in Germany. Those four also basically confirm that it is contagious before symptoms appear.

Funny, but to be clear it's indications that multiple markers that exist within HIV are showing up in this, which is basically impossible biologically/naturally. It may/may not be using these elements as part of it's functionality as well (which would be SuperBad).

All of the above is pending confirmation, however.
