Yeah. Back in 2017 there were several groups of Chinese everywhere we went in Thailand, especially the temples and Samui island. Our Thai friend asked if we could tell which were Chinese and it was very easy. 🙂

Taiwan confirmed one case on Tuesday. As of Wed, 12 other are quarentined and 26 were tested.

Got this off Forbes.

As of today, two more confirmed cases of 2019-nCoV so 3 total. 168 suspected, 42 ruled out.
 
Another case in US confirmed. Looks like Chicago.

I was looking back at the Swine Flu numbers: 61 million people in the US got it and 13k died. Worldwide half a million people died. Makes more sense to me now why people are freaking out. I got the Swine Flu and survived but I would not want to have to live through that suffering again. Days and days of not being able to get out of bed, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, just drank Gatorade mixed with water to keep myself alive. Both my girlfriend and I had it so neither of us could even take care of each other. Lucky we didn't just die in our bed together.
 
When there's a disease outbreak and the government closes the roads and undertakes large excavations, it's time to be nervous, like put on your black pajamas and get out of Dodge in the dead of night nervous.
 
BTW the Saudi CV outbreak is still ongoing, but that's not hitting the news. So novel coronaviruses for the win this year I guess!

Fear of how the Chinese government treats quarantine areas will cause people to flee and escape containment. Good luck trying to track this.

Its impossible to contain that many people. And pointless.
I dont see everyone panicking like this every year about flu and that kills a ton of people and is highly contagious.
