How many intersections did he blow thru and even turn into the wrong lane? Plus spending half the time riding in the shoulder then swerving out into traffic?

Seems kind 50/50. Some drivers blatantly or mistakenly seem to just ignore him. Other times, he just barrels out in front of cars expecting them to stop. Right of way or not, you're an idiot and an asshole to cruise out in front of 3000-4000 pounds of rolling steel to prove a point.

I especially like this comment when called out on him running the last stop sign:

Does not matter.? Bikes have the right of way. I can assure you the car accelerated in an aggressive fashion right at me. Thanks for the comment.

What? Since when did bicycles stop being vehicles of the road? You have to abide lights, stop signs, and all traffic postings. What a jackass. I'm an avid biker too and this is just stupid.

My first thought also. When people in the comments point out the traffic violations he is committing he says "doesn't matter bikes always have right of way." The guy is obviously a moron.

apparently he has difficulty obeying traffic signals, maintaining a lane, and not behaving in an aggressive manner.

Honestly, he didn't do anything I wouldn't have done in most of those situations. I will yield at a stop sign if a cager has the right of way but most of them either are clueless that a bike is a vehicle or just don't know what the hell to do when they encounter a cyclist at a stop sign let alone another car. Fucking idiots. I just assume they're all out to kill me when I'm on my bike or my motorcycle.

Dunno where he is riding, but where I have been (NY, MA, VA, DC), bikes have to follow the rules of the road. That is, they have to stop for red lights. They also have to signal a turn, I usually do not see this and is quite possibly a large cause of accidents.

Are bicyclists always douches and/or at fault? No, but they certainly do not help the situation with their typical riding habits (ignorance or not).

Agreed. It's sad though, because I think that we would be much better off if we did bike more and drive less. Save on gas, improve our health, and some outside time would do us some good. For the time being though, bikes and regular roads just do not mix.

No,
I really doubt you ride around with "I have the right of way no matter what" attitude. That is 1) legally wrong 2) the reason why he gets into trouble.

If you don't follow the signs on the road and ride like a douche bag, it's no wonder that you end up with close calls like that. People "will try to kill you" every time you blow through a stop sign or a red light.

It depends on the city.

watch his "Rednecks hate cyclists" video...he tailgates and pursues a truck that passed him in a super aggressive manner, ends up crossing double yellows into oncoming lanes and ultimately tries to pass the truck on the left side...all to flip the guy off.

That guy is a dumbass. At times it looks like he's trying to get hit. But some of the drivers were also dumbasses. People seem to fixate on bikes on the side of the road, which causes them to drive way too close to the bike.

My first experience with superdouche biker riders was last summer in Palo Alto, CA. My goodness I thought some of them wanted to die the way they blasted through stop signs, red lights, etc.

I'm not saying I haven't seen it here in Austin, TX, but it's rampant over there.

For what it's worth, I used to cycle a lot and my father does so I understand the real threat to cyclists on the road but a VAST majority of cyclists that I personally see are like this fuckpuppet and just floss through red lights and stop signs and then get all pissed off when they almost get clipped. Yeah, you are at a higher risk so that's all the more reason to be careful. In Chicago I see wrecks alarmingly often from some cyclist going way too quickly through high traffic areas in the loop and just get fucking nailed because they thought it'd be a great idea to blow a red. Slow the fuck down and obey the laws or shut the hell up if you get nailed; you only have yourselves to blame.

Around campus, it seems that bicycles feel like they can flip between being a vehicle and a pedestrian whenever they want.
