Free Pizza and Pop as long as you register to vote!

The was a voter registration drive at school and they also gave out Pizza, Cookies, and Pop. All you had to do was register and you were welcomed to as much food as you could stack on the plate.

The pizza was Jet's Pizza too. Oh man..!

Do Romney bumper stickers and/or lawn signs have any value ?
Do T-shirts and free pizza have any value?

Does a Democrat value a Romney bumper sticker? Probably not. Does a Republican value a Obama shirt? Not likely. Pizza? Clearly a bribe.

About $20 for a large where I live and I've seen college students eat 1 1/2 large pizzas in a sitting. So yeah. Sorry Richie Rich if it offended you.
Pizza is an expensive food because you know gluttonous people? Around here soda is more expensive than beer because I know people who drink entire cases of soda daily but I only have two beers a night. That's simple math.

Damn liberals giving out one and a half pizzas to every student.

Actually kochsucker I lived and worked in Colorado for over 10 years and still have family and friends that live there.
Why would you call a libruhl a kochsucker? Do you not understand how to use that word properly?

So, if we give out Free Pizza and T-Shirts across America...we could make sure Republicans don't have a fair chance.

Bribery through food seems to be the only way to get Americans on your side. Its only natural. We like to eat. Feed us and we'll be under your spell forevar!

1 1/2 Pizzas for everybody!!

I can't wait for Thanksgiving! I love that we are getting into pumpkin pie season. I like even cheap pumpkin pie, but my stepmom used to buy a very fancy, whipped-filling pumpkin pie from a bakery somewhere in the Upper East Side of Manhattan that was just delicious. I will be traveling to NY for Thanksgiving and might have to demand that she supply one of those . . .

It was only two weeks ago and you're already pining for another Thanksgiving?

I certainly wouldn't want to interrupt your sobbing, but for the record, so far all you have are accusations they broke the law ... by partisan crybabies just like you. Further, as has been pointed out repeatedly -- and as you have ignored since it proves just how stupid your crying is -- the "bribes" (lulz) were offered without regard to how the students voted. It was simply an effort to encourage voting. It may well be this is technically a violation, but it is hardly a scandal.

But hey, rage on dearie. Don't let those big, bad Democrats keep you down. You seem to thrive on screeching about some of the dumbest, most petty partisan shit imaginable. You're rapidly catching up to Spidey as spokesman for the lunatic fringe.

I think despite their bluster about the debates, they realize Romney ain't got the horses for this haul and this is manifesting itself in increasingly desperate EYESWIDEOPEN!1!FUCK BE UPON HIM!!!

Well said though.

the only thing I see here is conservative attempts to suppress student voting. ...for obvious reasons, naturally.

Not only that, Obama t-shirts are "cool clothes!"

This thread is now about pie.

Deliberate derailing of a thread. If you don't like the thread, don't post in it.

Deliberate and stated derailing of a thread. Is it against the rules? or only against the rules for some people and some subjects?

Sure we do. I cherish my old Clinton/Gore T-shirt. I wear it at Halloween.

Being the honest man I am, i'd already apologized for that line.

Maybe you should stop posting troll threads and you wouldn't get troll responses.

Now back on topic, the giant pumpkin pies that Costco sells are wonderful for store bought stuff.
I think they could use a bit more allspice though.

Most people when given something of value for an assurance that they'll do something for receiving it will usually do whatever it was they got "paid for". Sure there are always the scoundrels that don't, but by and large they'll do it. It was an intended bribe for performing a vote action and it is illegal in Colorado.

No outrage, no frothing and it's a small story, but it again shows that so many Democrats and Obama supporters feel they're above the law and should be able to do anything they want since laws don't apply to people with really, really, really good and pure intentions.

yeah, but you still didn't care when Romney/Ryan did it themselves.

let me repeat that, b/c it is important to your feeble little argument:

R&R handed out sandwiches in person. If you really want to go on with this cockamamey assertion that people receiving free junk are expected to reciprocate by voting in one particular way and with no prompting constitutes a bribe, then how do you interpret real candidates handing out free shit?

just admit you're a partisan hack with no substance and move on.

I will if you admit you're a partisan hack and a liar and move on.

The hypocrisy here is hilarious because it is so directly on point. I don't see how one can reconcile monovillage's faux outrage in this thread with his response when Romney and Ryan handed out sandwiches without seeing him as a total hypocrite. I have concluded that he is very likely an invented troll (a la Incorruptible), because I find it so hard to believe that any real human could be this much of a partisan hack.

I don't really like ice cream on my pumpkin pie, but some fresh whipped cream really sets it off nicely. The other key question - do you prefer it warm or room temperature/chilled? I tend to prefer the latter.
