hey guys,
ever feel unpopular? it was my birthday, adn I invited a whole bunch of people. and some friends from a while back. all in all about 20 people. and, only 8 showed. this is so depressing. i bought 2 twelve packs of corona and an 18 pack of mgd this morning. and set them all up in the cooler. and only 8 people showed. of those 8 only 1 came with me to the house. and he doesn't drink. where did all my friends go?

i am sad and drunk right now.

Happy birthday. MGD is gross by the way. 😉

I just got back from a party. Not really a party, but a small gathering after hitting the bars. We got drunk and sang stupid songs. It was fun. I'm drunk too. Not too drunk right now, but I posted something about getting hungry when you're drunk.

happy birthday raj. I love MGD🙂 I live in Sweden though so american beer is not very popular and always in low supply🙁

HBD!

Well, now you know who are your friends. Your xmas gift list has just been pruned, guiltlessly saving you big $$. Amazing how such things work themselves out. 😉

Happy Birthday,

You should have invited me then all you would have left is empty bottles/cans.

Tell me where you live and Ill come over and help you "clean up".

Hee Hee

Happy Birthday Raj !!!!

Don't worry about the ones that didn't show up. It seems to be the trend lately. The last few parties I went to had the same problem. The last one was thrown by a very popular couple and you knew it would be a great time, but only about a third of those invited showed up. People just don't want to go out to something when there's so many other things to do at home where they don't have to get all dressed up and go out. Some people have so little free time anymore. And last but not least, people just aren't as thoughtful these days.

I knew this guy once who threw a Halloween party and invited like over 200 people.
He bought food and set everything up...guess how many people showed up?
1 person

Interestingly enough, they became husband and wife.

Happy Birthday, Raj, don't worry yourself too much about what happened. I highly doubt that they're not your friends anymore, just busy.

Happy Birthday, Raj!

Actually, you got a pretty good turn out! I always invite a certain # of people and expect a lower turnout.

However, the people who were courteous to RSVP are the only ones you should consider inviting again. People should give you a head's up on who is going to make it or not. Not to RSVP is just plain rude. Grrrrr....

Happy Birthday Raj! And don't sweat it, as long as you have one or two really good friends in this life, you have it made. Now go do something nice for yourself. 🙂

Sorry to hear that man, but I agree with GirlFriday 100%. When it comes to friends, its not quantity, its quality.

Raj,

the only way you ever get a good party turnout is because of the last one.. It takes a few slow ones to set the stage. You throw a good bash & the word gets out.

Do you think all the Romans came to the first orgy ?

2 12 paks don't do it. Plus you have to be ready to do a trip to the local lockup for disturbing the Peace.

Roast a goat or pig... make sure you invite chicks... They are the greese ( not geese) that smoothes the Ganders.

strippers are for bachelor parties only.

Throwin a hot party is an artform that requires practice. Look at this one & learn.

Happy Bday man

Yeah, it's a good thing you didn't get a full turnout with that amount of beer🙂 You bought a total of 42 beers for a planned 20 people? That's about 2 beers per person, definitely not enough for a good party!

Happy B-day

thats the reason i stopped having birthday parties, starting my last birthday(15th) look at the bright side, now you get to drink it all yourself 😉
