Leave your sexual preferance out of this and just answer the question.

Are you a New Yorkan?

 Every once in a while you get a gem like this that makes the 23 hours a day spent on ATOT worth it :D

Yes, a quick visit to a suburban grocery store will reveal dozens of women in sweatsuits that are OBVIOUSLY not used for exercising in. In other words, there's lots and lots of big ladies. More than a lot of places.

You're on the west coast. People are just rude out there. I love going to Oregon to hike, but the people are huge asses.

Having grown up here, I can tell you that most of us aren't rude or huge asses. People in the PNW tend to be pretty reserved and relatively undemonstrative, so we come across sometimes as cold. We don't view it as rude, we view it as polite. We actually get uncomfortable around overly emotional, loud, or demonstrative people. We find all of that embarrassing.

I don't know why you would even try to draw this conclusion.
Inthe past 6 months I've had conversations with about 100 people here in Oregon.

Now that your ignorance is corrected, please be quiet and go away.

I dont agree.
Aside from the one little bad conversation habit, people are pretty damn nice here.
And I'm pretty sure most of them dont even realize what they are doing.

Out of 100 people, you may have talked to 10 Oregonians, the rest are Californians who have moved here in the last 10-20 yrs.

what up with dat
Initially it was due to possible dangers of pumping your own gas. Now it's just because it rains here all too often and no one feels like pumping their own gas for no benefit.*

* A cost-benefit analysis is done every time this ends up on the ballot. Basically prices would be the same, so the only benefit is not having some minimum wage worker touch your car. It seems only the transplants care

I love not having to get out of the car to pump gas, so it is definately not a problem for me.

No sales tax, no assault weapon ban, shall-issue concealed carry permits, lots of forest service and blm land to play on - what's not to like?

About the only negatives we have are Burns OR, and the dirty hippies.

Haha, you're right. The 100 people you've met definitely means my living here for over two decades is insignificant in comparison. Pardon my ignorance...

You made a stupid comment with no experience of any significance to back it up. I pooter on your paltry six months. You be quiet and go away, like, back to whatever state you came from :p

I've never noticed anything like that nor have I ever thought that people from the west coast are assholes.

P.S. Go Huskies.

Perhaps it's because you ramble on non-stop and we're just trying to tell you to STFU.... politely. :p

Exactly. Whenever I see a puppy I stomp on it then spit in the owners face. It's how we're brought up.
