To bad I didn't find her attractive, but I'd give her a nice little smile each time to keep the stamps coming! :p

I would have....well you know...jerk!

Subway sucks anyway. Cousins is far better. I feel sorry for those that don't have Counsins in their market and therefore don't realize that subway is crap...

I live in a small city (10k ppl) so our options are a bit limited: McD's, DQ, Subway, Smitty's, KFC/Pizza Hut and a few locals. Subway was the best of the trully "Fast" food restaurants. I'll miss the freebies. Hopefully they come up w/ something that's more secure but just as good a deal, or just lower the price of their subs accordingly.

around here they have put out a LOT of coupons....(rossMAN)
Like, 2 6" subs for $3.99 or something...which is a pretty good deal considering a 12" is somewhere in the vicinity of 5-6

We routinely get four Quizno's coupons in every Sunday newspaper. Two are usually $2 off medium or large sub, $1 off toasty flat bread and buy medium or large sub and get free soup.

I'll be mailing a few Quizno's coupons to ElFenix when we receive another batch.

Cousins is disgusting and has bad customer service. This is from a man who has been to a coousins store in 5 different cities and they all still suck!

But they are close to work and I do like their chicken sedona salad.

subway > cousins more bang for your buck

Often times what people think is "stale" bread is really very fresh bread.

Subway bread forms a crunchy crust when cooked, then when put in the bread cabinet, the exposure to humidity makes it soften up to the "ideal" texture (what people consider "fresh.")

Most times when you think you're getting stale bread, you're really getting just baked bread because they were running out too early.

Subways cannot keep their bread longer than 24 hours. So long as the store is following the rules, you'll never get stale bread.

What do you mean "they haven't done crap in years"? I just heard Jarod say the other day that they are "doubling" their menu! Now all of their sandwiches can be TOASTED too! Toasted? What a novel idea! (***coughs up sarcasm***)

Did I mention they're DOUBLING their menu?

PERHAPS it's 'fresh' bread, but it tasted like ass and was rock hard. I couldn't even finish my sandwich it was that bad.

The Subways here in Utah use a credit-type card and when you get so many "points" you get free food.

Yeah, I know a family that owns tons of Subways. Once they heard about the discontinuation, they tossed me a whole roll of them. Here is a snapshot.

A few

Needless to say, I've been eating subway nearly everday.

Then WHY THE HELL did thye get rid of roasted chicken breast? ANSWER: Nobody goes to subway to eat healthy food, which that chicken breast was (kind of). They go so they can pretend they are and then heap on 15 ounces of mayo, a large sugary drink, and 12 cookies.

i dont want no stinking fountain drink anyways.

The "deal" was for a while locally, anyways that you would get
money off the sub,When you bought a drink.

What kinda bargain was that?

I Might have bought food at Subway;
Once in the last year.

Umm, the subways around here stopped accepting the stamps almost a year ago. They gave me this plastic card with a magnetic strip on it instead.
I wonder if they'll be phasing that out too.

That could have been a franchise (vs corporate) decision.

My wife got a chicken breast sub yesterday, so they are still offered in our area.

It's a sandwich store... they sell sandwiches... what else do you want them to do? They've added a few more sandwiches, a few different sauces, but there's only so much you can do with sandwiches.

Maybe they're test marketing the possible replacement promotion they mentioned in the article. That would be nice, same promotion, no counterfeiting.

I found out about it the hard way...

My dad and I had four cards and we planned on getting two foot longs on separate purchases. We each got our sandwiches made and when we went to pay for the drinks, the lady pulled out a hand made sign saying "we dont accept purple stamps anymore" (ours was a mix of purple, red, and pink. We saw the manager and told him we got the purple stamps within the last few months here and he just waved his arms in the air. We said we have been coming to this one often in the last few months and its outrageous and we arnt going to pay for them. He waved his arms in the air again told told us to go somewhere else then.

We went to quiznos [for the first time]. Actually the stuff was a little cheaper and made much better. The owner of the quiznos was there and going around asking how things are. We told him we were just at subway and what happened. The owner told us that he got pissed off at Subway sometime ago and opened this quiznos lol

Im going to quiznos from now on. They actually put alot more stuff in the sandwiches, the price is slightly better then subway, and the ingredients seem to be higher quality then subway.
