I ordered EVGA GTX 780 yesterday afternoon, and it wasn't shipped out until today.
On top of that they shipped it VIA Fedex SmartPost!

I call customer service spoke to a supervise and all he keep telling me is that was my choice. WTF, I wasn't ordering a $9.99 usb pendrive with free shipping, I order a $659 video card and they charged $3.99 for shipping.

This is my last purchase from them, Newegg has become one arrogant company with lousy customer support!

Newegg used to be a dependable place to shop at for many years, if I order before 4pm. They will be shipped that day and ship by UPS. Now not only they don't have the lowest price like they used to, they are messing around with the shipping. I am take my business somewhere else!

Yeah...with the exception of Amazon Prime, I'm not sure what you're looking for in terms of shipping policies of online retailers. Prime is somewhat unfair for comparison as well since you seem to be hung up over $4 let only $80. Your video card is apparently a hot item as you claim that you couldn't spend the additional seconds choosing the $8 three day shipping without it selling out, so why do you expect them to discount it with free shipping? If something sells out within minutes of it being available, it seems like they should have charged $10 more or something.

They fulfilled what they promised exactly. Same day shipping often happens but they don't promise that. The 4 PM time you mention is very late in the day and probably has more to do with the workload at the warehouse. The item has $3.99 shipping right next to the price on the item page (which is very rare in an online retailer) and the checkout page gave you the options and the estimated delivery times.

To me, it seems like Newegg has spoiled you in the past but because this item is in demand they didn't have to give any extra shipping discounts. Meanwhile you're whining over $4 and the fact you forgot to look at the shipping options.

What an absolutely ridiculous complaint. It is common practice to ship any order with the cheapest possible shipping regardless of the price of the order. I've had have order that were much more than yours that I shipped with cheap shipping. You got exactly what you orders. Newegg made zero mistakes.
