...OP should be banned from this forum.

Or at at least have his handle changed to Varuca Salt

I'd post more but I can barely see through my tears. Why is life so unfair to some people?

I feel bad for the CS rep you talked to over there. No one should have to deal with such nonsense as you.

Regardless of the OP's whining, it doesn't change the fact that Newegg is slipping. Quick FedEx shipping used to be standard; even UPS was bearable. But Smartpost is so awful it should be illegal.

I been buying stuff from newegg for over 10years, their cheap ass shipping are used for cheap stuff with free shipping. I never expected them to ship high price item via fedex smartpost. And No I didn't have time to analyze their shipping option.

No time to analyze the shipping options, but plenty of time to bitch and moan about it.

This is pathetic

Not only did you purchase an overprices card.......but you also complain because they didn't send it until the next day?

And they sent it using the shipping method he chose.

What a bunch of assholes over there are Newegg. They don't deserve anyone's business. How dare they do what the customer asked them to do....

Tbh never have had a problem with the shipping newegg provides. Most of my stuff comes within 3 days of order. Ordered a Corsair vengeance 2000 wireless headset at like 2:00 in the afternoon, came next day. Don't know why all the hate with newegg shipping latley.

Same here, if you were to add up all of my purchases on Newegg past 10+ years.....I'm WELL into 6-7k.

Never had a problem. In most cases I get the order prior to when it was promised.

I never had 1 issue with Newegg.

PS. I haven't really used them lately as my PC/gaming interests have dwindled....

Got a lot of fanbois in this thread...

I haven't shopped at Newegg in quite a while, Amazon is just too good (even better with prime!).

Newegg doesn't seem to ship out as fast as Amazon does and their shipping options suck (for me at least). I'll continue to use Amazon or Microcenter.

I used newegg when they just started, but I been buying more and more on amazon as the free two day is too good.

Smartpost is horribly slow, or maybe we are spoiled by quick shipping in recent times.

The OP is willing to spend $650 for a video card, but not $10 for priority shipping.

Yeah, this is definitely Newegg's fault. Shame on you, Newegg! :)

How is the two-day shipping free?

It's not, but I like to think of it this way: I pay $79 for my yearly prime membership sometime in december. Near the end of december I buy some heavy items from amazon as christmas gifts that would easily have cost more than $79 to ship 2-day. Everything after that is "free" 2-day shipping.

Which is off topic. Why launch into yet another New Egg bashing thread when this one is so pointedly completely off the mark?

Quick FedEx shipping used to be standard; even UPS was bearable. But Smartpost is so awful it should be illegal.

That's a load of crap.

It makes sense if the customer wants the least expensive shipping method, even if it means an added day to the shipping time. USPS for me has always been at least as fast as UPS ground or FedEx ground (which, in my experience, is by far the worst shipper for damage) in transit. FedEx SmartPost gives companies and their customers not only a more cost effective shipping method, it has the advantage to large shippers of being more manageable than using USPS directly.

What's wrong with it? I'm sick and tired of places that only offer premium shipping when I don't want to pay premium prices. I almost never request Priority over Parcel Post, for example. I'd rather the cheaper option be standard and the premium option be just that: the option.

That's it I had it with Newegg!

I ordered EVGA GTX 780 yesterday afternoon, and it wasn't shipped out until today.
On top of that they shipped it VIA Fedex SmartPost!

I call customer service spoke to a supervise and all he keep telling me is that was my choice. WTF, I wasn't ordering a $9.99 usb pendrive with free shipping, I order a $659 video card and they charged $3.99 for shipping.

This is my last purchase from them, Newegg has become one arrogant company with lousy customer support!

This is why I cant work in Customer Service. Here we have an idiot customer that caused this situation and then we have a company that has to bend over and make a concession for the stupid customer.

You poor bastard. I wish I had over 700 dollars to spend on a graphics card. Fuck the 1 damn day delay I'll wait a week. In fact I still have stuff I ordered on Ebay on the 1st that hasn't came yet.
