Okay, there are two kinds of useless threads:
1) Threads with as topic something silly as 'McDonalds or Burger King?'
2) True NEF(c)-threads in which all participants only make useless brainless posts which contain humor suitable for lower intelligences.
Threads like 2) are always locked as soon as they're spotted and tracked down by the Mod(s), while threads which comply to the description made in 1) are allowed to live on.
NEF(c)-threads have the astounding ability to lower your intelligence with something close to 30% within the first 15 posts. I therefore think that everyone who creates such a NEF(c) thread should be banned instantly.

Why do so many keep calling the Moderators 'Mean Mods'?
I think that they're doing an excellent job and are in no way being mean to any members of AT, unless they deserve to be treated so, like when they start a NEF(c) thread or participate in it by making yet another useless post.
Off Topic isn't bad, but 'Neffing(c)' is far beyond Off Topic IMHO.

OT should be just that, chatter. Some of it's pointles, and I agree those threads should be locked. So should threads with questionable content. Bans to those who really step out of line. But to ban neffing altogether. *wail* Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. What would I do without neffing 😉

Adul does more than just nef. I see him alot in DC working hard on RC5, and he has helped me and numerous others with computer problems. He is a good helpful nef, unlike others who don't know anything about computers, and just post here.... 😱 😉
