MTV still has some entertaining shows. It's the stigma that goes with a trendy network like that which keeps the haters hating. It's like stereotyping an entire network, not the particular shows that are on it.
Have you seen the shows ? It's still got music/movie industry entertainment. Related celebs and the things they partake in. Not particularly music videos, but it's not just Real World or Road Rules like some people believe it is either. I happened to enjoy Making the Band 3 with the hoochies gettin' their groove on. Some good dancers and some good entertainment.Originally posted by: Amused

Crap.
If you call yourself "Music Television" you should have Music.
MTV USED to play music videos all day. Then in the late 80s they tried a game show. It was all down hill from there. Now you'd be very lucky to ever see a music video on "Music Television."

That's fair, but at 27, I still find at least 3 or 4 of MTV shows entertaining. And I find myself more mature than the majority of this board. I just don't think it's fair to label an entire channel teh suck just because it doesn't appeal to you. It's one thing to say you don't watch it, but it's another to say it sucks as if no one should watch it.Originally posted by: redly1

If I could work for MTV, I would.
