how many hours you got on it?Denied twice, so far. I never did an automated request for a refund though. Haven't had the game installed for a week.
I'm going to keep trying. Eventually, they are bound to get tired of me, lol.

3 hours and 18 minutes. They're being hardasses, probably because of all the shitty people with 50 hours requesting refunds.how many hours you got on it?
Put in a automated ticket then put in a steam support ticket to the billing department or some other department with a wall of text explaining the the misleading aspects of the game (I copied and pasted from that huge Reddit thread).3 hours and 18 minutes. Disputed the purchase with PayPal. Suddenly Valve offers me a credit to my Steam Wallet for the $59.95 - said I had too much time played for a PP refund but Steam shows me at the same 4 hours!
So they get my money any way you slice it. I'll keep the dispute open, and let PP sort it.
I had been denied a refund before I opened the dispute. Then after PP notified them, suddenly they offer me Steam credit.
Regarding the time-frame, they are folks who have received refunds with many more hours played than me.
All in all, Valve should do the right thing, no questions asked.
I did both already. All I'm getting is " We have provided all the available information and will be unable to assist you further with this issue. "Put in a automated ticket then put in a steam support ticket to the billing department or some other department with a wall of text explaining the the misleading aspects of the game (I copied and pasted from that huge Reddit thread).
Let me know how that goes. You have way less hours than I had.

Same crap with me too. Said I played 5 hours (most of that was spent troubleshooting this pile of dung) then in the process of building out my new rig and restoring my game library it jumped up to 6 hours. That's what I'm getting too. Somehow my time on it has crept up yet another hour when I haven't played in almost two weeks.
I think steam is deliberately boosting up playtime so they can deny more people.
I hope this is a wake up call for the pre-order fad, I always thought it'd backfire one day with shoddy devs/publishers taking advantage of free money by using the hype train. Choo-choo. Apparently Infinity Ward are using a remastered CoD4 to sell Infinite Warfare which looks like a sh* game so far.
Bullshit. If you think that not preordering means bad games are going to go away, I've got some ocean-front property in Utah to sell you.Yeah pretty much. There is nobody to blame but the people who preorder. If these people didn't preorder then the developers would have to make a good product.
And that's why people hate on gamers. You buy into the hype, don't wait for reviews, then cry and complain wanting your money back when you could have read reviews for it and known what type of game it was and paid the exact same amount of money and played it on release day. I've never asked for money back on a game that had shown it had something but didn't. It's not like this is the first game to ever do that. And that's why I'm waiting for this game to go on sale. I don't pre-order anything unless it's from a well established developer with a track record. There's so many articles out there telling you not to pre-order and you do. It's your own fault, you don't deserve your money back after playing or for hours.

Maybe sooner. LOL.Hey! that will eventually pay off...in ~500k-2 million years or so.![]()
