The Portage County fairgrounds has a "long-standing policy" of not hosting political rallies, said a county commissioner.

Commissioner Sabrina Christian-Bennett told Ohio’s Record-Courier newspaper that a board member explained that the venue has “a long-standing policy” of not hosting political rallies.

“It boiled down to their bylaws said they would not have political events at the fairgrounds,” he added.

I was asked that very question for my TS clearance when joining the Marines. And that was in the late 70s.

It's still there, I'm sure. Had TS for over 20 years. 5 year PRD's.

I remember all too well when having a system that specifically blocked recording of fine detail patrol Navigation data, learning about the new upgrade to our system. This was caused by Nav switching from SINS (Ships Inertial Guidance System) to ESGN (Electrostatically Supported Gyro Navigation) as a navigation source. When we were getting an overview of what was coming down the pike for our data recording system I noticed there wasn't a discussion about a lockout for Nav data (it was unlocked only for test launches as they are not in patrol areas then), The answer was that we were going to record the bulk of the Nav data stream. So I said, I guess that's means we all have to upgrade to TS then. The answer was yes.

Not that I'd expect our resident diehard conservatives to be happy, but even they might acknowledge that Trump isn't entitled to hold rallies anywhere he wants.
