my guess is that it will be either Texas vs Iowa or Texas vs USC/Boise State

Oregon is going to crush USC as Oregon is at home.
If Iowa beat Ohio State on 11/14 they then they will move up big.
Alabama at LSU is a big game next week and then they should meet Florida.
Lots of big games coming up to reduce the unbeatens in the nation but I see TCU leapfrogging Boise State quickly due to strenght of schedule.

You guys are forgetting about TCU. If they get past #16 Utah and run the table, They'll still be ahead of Boise State.

The NCG? I don't see Iowa getting there. If anything, I could see them going undefeated and still not getting into the game when SOS is counted.

With that said, Alabama could screw up against LSU but still beat Florida and then you have the "how good is the SEC?" question pop up again. Although I say any 1 loss SEC team doesn't deserve to jump any undefeated teams this year. The top SEC teams have been living on the edge these past few weeks against teams they should not be.

I watched the Alabama - Tenn game after I got home today. I saw a very very tired team in need of a bye week surviving against a team coming in from a bye week. Nearly every championship team is going to have one or two games (or more) a season where they survived more than they won against a perceived lesser opponent.
That said, I'm glad the bye week for Bama is finally here. Hopefully, they can get McElroy back to form in the passing game before LSU. That's the only thing the offense is lacking right now.

Must be nice to have bye weeks in the middle of the season.

Bama proved they have the best defense in the country, hands down. We'll see how they do against FL in the SEC Championship game.

They proved that in the TN game... how? Special teams is not defense.
