As of tonight, my other car is gone. This is going to be a difficult two or three months with only the sensible commuter....

I was reading the manual and something jumped out at me. They really trust their software. They actually tell you, when you have the specific handling modes on, to just press the accelerator to the floor while leaving a turn and let it handle power management exiting the turn by itself.. I read that in a review and thought it was bologna. We'll have to see how well it works an if it does what it does by killing power too much or actually does a good job of it.

if you are ok with sharing. how much did this bad boy cost you?

I will share the new MSRP, but not what I paid ;)

The MSRP with my set of options is $66680.

GM customer service will look up the status of a sold order for the customer (my name is associated with the order), and there are various GM reps on forums that will give out info.

Same, my name is in the order number. I look at it sometimes. :)

Lime Rock Green is great but it deserves Kalahari.

That is all.

I don't like the way dual tone interiors look with the 3LT package, personally. The strip that goes above the instrument panel just looks off to me, so I went with the only solid option: black.

1LT and 2LT look fine two tone to me, but 3LT just looks funny to me.

Actually, I'm wrong, Kalahari, even though the swatch shows two tone, is a solid color.

I still prefer the black ;) I looked through all the interior layouts and landed on that one, though kalahari would be my second choice. The two tones I find ugly with 3LT though.

Let the gouging commence!

http://www.chevrolet.com/cars/2014-...G1YL2D73E5300048&x-zipcode=30343#.UlUeFAcQUG0

my local dealer is only trying to get people for an extra $6,000, so I guess that's not nearly as bad as the $13,000 for the above car. "Processing Option", heh.

The processing option is how the limited edition, or premier edition or whatever they call that set of options for the 500 or whatever number of special edition cars shows up on that site. It isn't an adm.

on the previous episode of TGUSA, Tanner tested the C7 with and without it's software nannies around the streets of Detroit. It's somewhere on history channel website.

Just went past 7,500 miles today on my '07. Time to trade the tired and worn out car for a new one. I received a great deal at Les Stanford in Dearborn, MI when I bought new in '07. Will probably go through them again. Although, I'll probably wait a year for the 2015.

By then you might have 7,600 miles on your '07... :sneaky:

I think I've logged more miles driving Corvettes than you have quite honestly and I've never owned one. :D

That is a freakin nice car, congrats! Most showrooms should have them by now, eh? I just want to go see one.
Now GM just needs to make a really good DCT and this'll be the ultimate sub-100K car!

Congrats! Hope to see pics soon!

We "browsed" a Z06 at the dealer we bought our truck from on Monday. Impressive car. Not exactly cheap, but nice! Hope the dealer wasn't too upset with the drool I left on the hood, dash, seats. ;)

I saw one of these today, I didn't think they looked that good from the earlier pictures, until I saw it up close. Really nice looking car.

That's funny. I put 12k on mine in 11 months and that was while owning a second car.

I went & looked at a pair of C7's at a local dealer. One torch red/black and one lime rock green/kalahari. I like the contrast of the vents on the brighter colored cars but the green/tan is beautiful. Both 3LT 7-speed MT.

They've got the red one in a 2nd floor window visible from the road so there's a lot of traffic in to look at it. I think there were four people there in the 20 minutes I spent walking around their Corvette showroom. They are pricing them $10k over sticker and have already sold one at that price.

Boo for gouging.
