I can see why you might think that, call me a lurker on Message Boards, I have been reading ATOT for about the past year, but have never felt the need to contribute.

But as far as the situation. My girlfriend was sitting in the Lecture Hall at Cole Autitoruim, in her Geology 104 class, which is the Introduction to Oceanography class.

Her friend was also hit by the shooting and the last I heard he was bleeding fairly badly, I assume that he has been taken to the Kishwakee Hospital.

Also, as far as replying online, I went online because the entire cell phone system here is completely overloaded, I've gotten 6 voice mails, but I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone since I talked to my G/F.

Sounds like the shooter used bird shot, due to the number of injuries and the fact that few were serious.

I'm suprised the "no guns allowed" sign at the campus perimeter didn't deter him.

okay he was one of the guys shot in the back of the head, but my friends say that he was laughing and cracking jokes like he always does, before he was shipped off to the hospital, so he's fine for the most part...

Pellet? Bleeding? Unless it was spent, shot would do some nice damage, more or less depending on what he was using.

Not really depending on range an if it was previously deflected.
