Especially the Altima's interior. Even a 1988 Honda Civic hatchback can beat the Altima on interior quality, I may have exaggerated slightly.

Besides, why the hell should you guys care? Nissan has the performance/enconomy ratio that is right for me. If you want slow cars that get a million miles to the gallon, buy something else.

Wanna know why?
Because it's essentially a rebadged Toyota.

And what are you doing anyway? I thought I was defending the honorable name of Nissan, you don't seem to be helping suddenly.

and everyone needs a car that can go 3 times the legal limit
honda makes fine engines as well (S2000, Acura TL Type S, NSX, 2003 accord)
I am not saying nissan is bad or anything I have nothing against them
I like the altima, maxima, and infiniti series, 350Z and G35 are especially sweet
but I just hate the fact how some people make them out to be god's gift to carmakers
we all know BMW and Audi make the finest cars on the road

According to THIS article, Toyota is ranked #1 and Honda is ranked #2 in quality cars. Nissan is a bad name for the Japanese. I recall one time I emailed Nissan asking why the Skyline was not ported over to the US. They said that it would simply cost too much money for Nissan to invest in just to meet federal safety standards in terms of a car and they would result in LOSING money that making money. That's why they won't bring it over. If you want a quality car, get a Toyota. Of course, we all know in Japan Nissan cars are the sh!tznit. The only thing Honda has is the NSX and their up and coming tight ass Honda S2000 Type R with 360HP. Oh yeah..that's with NO turbo by the way.

If it were my $18,000, I'd go for a used 1996 or 1997 'Benz E320. Mercedes has been using the 320 engine for, what, 15 years now? I'm sure it has the quality and reliability some people are looking for. The Benz will last you 6 or so years while still looking relatively modern. I'm sure 6 years for a car is all you need because it appears your parents are loaded or are very generous auto-wise. Stuff you can do to the Benz:
Purchase latest tail lights from the dealer so it looks like a 2002.
Acquire some nice fake Brabus or AMG wheels/rims.
Come on, you know you want it. Just go for it!
