Nirvana

The Nirvana scene? You mean the grunge scene? It's quite nice. While you're out on 90s Lane, you might want to check out this new band Pearl Jam's first album ten, they're great.

Yeah, the grunge scene. . . I gave it a shoot in middle school but failed miserably. I wasnt "grunge" enough. What a waste, I did get my first bj though, that was worth it.

That is almost sig-worthy.

That's the problem, you tried to be a part of it. The best way to do things is let the music become a part of you, not the other way around. In the end it's better for you and the music, and you don't have to deal with a bunch of stupid scenesters.

I never really liked, or much less, understood the Nirvana "scene." so yes. this is new.

If you mean grunge, check out Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, (early) Pearl Jam, Mad Season, and (early) Stone Temply Pilots.. these bands+Nirvana comprise about 1/3 of the music I listen to frequently

Well you see, I know this now 😉 And because of that, I enjoy the genre's of music I listen to . . . such a higher appreciation for music. Anyways. . . back to the killer drums.

i really don't like that song, it has to be one of the most overplayed songs evar...in fact i've skipped it twice in winamp so far today (but then winamp seems to exhibit real affection for some songs ...thread idea 😉)

Can't forget Mother Love Bone or Temple of the Dog!! Or Screaming Trees, for that matter.

Don't forget Temple of the Dog. Chris Cornell's (of Soundgarden) solo album is also excellent. In the end, though AIC > *

AIC is the best I agree.. especially Jar of Flies. And if you haven't checked out Mad Season, that band is amazing as well. River of Deceit could be my favorite Layne Staley song
