Nirvana music question (Poll)

Still jamming and making kick ass music. I think their music would evolve slightly, maybe into something heavier, but they'd kick the sh!t out of all these manufactured wannabe punk POS bands that all the pop stations push

I think they would have broken up. They weren't bad musicians, and changed music, but they just didn't have staying power. Kurt was too unstable. I know this because I was a close personal friend of his.

I agree with you there about the reason the band would break up.

well as far as i know they were recording a new album when he died, that's where "you know you're right" came from. so it's a safe bet there would have been another album. but my guess is they would have broken up some time between then and now.

i'de like to believe they'd be together, but then again the foo fighters are a good band...well used to be

It's hard to visualize Kurt Cobain living a long, happy life. He was brilliant, IMO, but a tortured soul, and far too sensitive and high-strung to maintain a long career. If he were alive, I can't imagine that Nirvana would still be around. If he were able to stabilize his emotions and drug issues, I see no reason he could not have been creatively productive well into middle age, however.

Sorry but I find that hard to believe.

Nirvana made some great music but let's face it Kurt Cobain was just too messed up in the head to keep going on successfully. Success only makes someone like Kurt even more messed up unfortunately.

They would have broken up by now. Chances are they would have made one or two more records. I would have bet they would have been pretty good.

But we will never know.

yep. i think his eventual suicide was something that almost needed to happen. i cant see kurt cobain living till he was 90 and dying in his sleep. just not happening.
