Nintendo to announce new version of GBA

It sounds like they are listening to people about how crappy the screens are now.
 
So is this gonna be the exact same thing only smaller, folding, and backlight? Is this actually confirmed or is it just some planet gamecube thing? Hmm sounds interesting though, might have to sell mine and get one of those ones.

Those SOBs, why couldn't they have made them like that in the first place? I'm not gonna get a new one, I'll just put an afterburner in my current one. That linked site is down btw.

Also I read on EGM that you can add a thingie so ur gamecube can play GBA games!! ON BIG SCREEEN!!! YEAAAAHHH!!!!!

It's a seperate piece of hardware that you hook up to the GC. No GBA needed. Lets you play all the games, pretty neat. Can hook up your GBA also and play 2 people on the big TV 😛

The GameGear is a great example of how backlighting was a problem. 6 AA batteries that lasted 2-3 hours :disgust:

There is a Gameboy Advance emulator out for the XBOX. Of course you need to own the GBA and original cartridge to play the roms.
