They need to thank nintendo. And it's bull. You can sit on the couch and play all of those games, people are just making overly dramatic movements. A simple flick of the wrist is all that is required to play most of those games.

They better not get sued.. And, if any lawsuit is brought against them, it should be thrown out in court with prejudice. (or without.. whichever makes the people that brought the lawsuit pay)

It's bullsh1t to criticize Nintendo for actually making a video game - the very subject being blamed for the childhood obesity epidemic - that forces players to get exercise. Nintendo does not control how you have your living room set up.. If you don't have enough room to play the Wii, then fvcking move some of your sh1t..

If you get sore while playing the Wii, tone it down a bit and play less! If you break something while playing the Wii, then YOUR PERSONAL MOTIONS ARE YOUR OWN PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. You can't just sue Gatorade because you broke a window trying to get a bottle opened.

Nintendo = good

Fat tubs of lard with completely worthless lives and no sense of self responsibility while neglecting kids by sticking them in front of a video game = EVIL

repetitive action for endless hours is straining even for athletes... let alone couch potatoes.

"Some Wii games also have pop-up reminders every 15 minutes advising gamers to take a break."

Wow, that would get old, fast.

Give it a year. Obesity rates will go down several percent all thanks to a console game. :)

Dramatic movements are not at all required to play these games...

However, they are half the fun :)
