For $100+ dollar, I would've just bought a new DSL. But that's just me.

Nice that you're standing up for fair business practices, bad that you're being such a douche to the people that aren't responding the way you want them to. Whatever the case, good luck.

everyone is bias, i am bias for myself. Explain how this is wrong?

You're making a fuss over 98 cents, and reading something diabolical into it...strike 1.

They invited you to call them. The phone call is going to cost them MORE than 98 cents. Therefore, not a profitable venture for them, so your conspiracy falls apart...strike 2.

You're asking nintendo of america to understand canadian tax...strike 3. We can't even understand our own tax.

You're out! On grounds of being anal to the point of absurdity.

A similar situation: A while back, I switched from T-mobile postpaid, to prepaid. The switch took 48 hours. A month later, I receive a bill for 2 days of service on the post paid account, which I was unable to use, as I was already being billed by prepaid. Instead of assuming a conspiracy, I assumed it's just a kink in their system, called up, asked for the bill to be erased, and it was. I didnt post all over the internet about they where trying to scam me...why? Cause I didn't want to seem like a douchebag.

Your reply is very weak.

94 cents or 94 dolars, the money is his. There is no difference in wanting your money back no matter the amount.

I completely agree. But he jumped the conclusion from unintended mistake to intentional scamming FAR too quickly. It's as if he was so irate about having to fix his DS, that he wanted nothing more than to convince himself that nintendo was evil. He left no room for human error, and soon as the slightest opportunity to self-justify was opened (they didnt answer their phone), he went all out, and here we have it.

Why you think a multinational, billion dollar corporation has ANYTHING to gain by taking a dollar from a canadian is beyond me. You want your dollar back? CALL THEM. Posting this on the internet does nothing but make him sound like an ass.

If he called, explained the situation to a REAL PERSON, and they, and his supervisor both denied him, he might have a case. Until then, I just see hot air.
