I'm a huge Giants fan. The Giants SUCK. They stunk up the field so bad, I could smell it in NY. :| Shockey will be a huge star and Fassell aint going anywhere. Niners suck too, the Giants HANDED them this game. :| They weren't beat by a better team, they beat themselves.

Damn right hes not going anywhere. Look at what he did for the Giants after he took over the play calling on offense. Todays loss was not his fault it was due to stupid mistakes.

people were the same way about Owens. Then he got leveled in Dallas. Today he still acts the same way so I don't think it will do any good. Not to mention Shockey is a better player IMO (and no, didn't say anything about athleticism).

the key was that his first was only taunting. the second was unnecessary roughness. still though, i was getting pissed off at him he could have cost them the game if the Giants didn't retaliate

Shocky is not better than Owens, he's just 260 pounds and 6'5", most of his cought passes are out of reach to 5'11" DB's. I wanted to slap the announcer who said shocky could jump last week. Brian Dawkins at 5'11" almost stripped the ball from Shocky in mid air and shockys feet did not even leave the ground :|!! No matter, I don't want to start anything. Ney York is known for talking crap and when you talk crap people get angry, you guy's have no idea what was being said on the field to start the fight in that game today.

More HEART?!?!?! After the way the Giants finished the season and made the playoffs the Niners have MORE HEART?! Come on! The Giants beat themselves, they gave the freaking game away. They choked, plain and simple. But they weren't beaten, they beat themselves. How many times does a team give up two 2 point conversions in a row?!?! And they weren't great plays. The Giants D just folded.
 
I agree. The 9'ers caught up because the Giants defense folded like a paper bag. Plus you don't see too many botched field goal snaps. The Giants GAVE this game to the 9'ers who had their tail beat during the first half.

Maybe so......But the Niners didnt do anything great, they just played well. The Giants just botched up every goddamn play.

Handed the game and poor game play are one in the same. If they didn't have enough composure to hold the 38-14 lead for another half, they didn't deserve to win. They stopped running the offense that produced 1st down after 1st down. Hell, 1/2 way into the 3rd quarter, i was getting ready to head into San Francisco Pier 39 for some chowder and crab. Then the offense got into gear and hauled a$$.


Pure irony when Strahan told Owens to look at the score board after the 2 point conversion. Shouldn't count your eggs before they hatch. That goes for every team.

I'm not saying that the Giants deserved to win, I agree they deserved to lose. But they weren't beat by a better team, they beat themselves.
